hah i know. arent they lovely? :P hah omg today. well yesterday as you know i had those contractions for 3 hours, then today i had pressure so bad i couldnt stand, sit, walk, bend, or cough, and im sick so not coughing wasnt an option. then off and on from this morning on ive been trickling something. not sure if its a lot of discharge or what. but i think im gunna call my doctor tomorrow :/

The past 2 or 3 days I've noticed this pain I get once in a while(maybe 2 times a day)it's like I have to 'go', it's in the whole pelvic/butt area...but I don't have to go, and I have to stop moving because it hurts hella bad....what is this? Anyone experiencing this?

young mom..lol i know the feeling. ive had my contractions every 15 mins, and these pains are so awful, but i dont want to make a useless trip to l and d. so im waiting til my water breaks.

aidensmama..yeah. sometimes when your water breaks, thats when all the mucus and plug go too

No it's more in my butt. But when she moves her head it gets worse. I cant sit at all or it hurts to bad. I started maybe a day ago.I have been have contractions for about three months so i am afraid i wont no when I am having them or not.lol

youngmom..does it feel like shes pushing between the skin of your butt and your vag? i had that all day last saturday. it was after i was walking and it was at my shower! sucked lol. im still pregnant, so i dont think its labor lol

Question I am almost 37 weeks pg. with my 2nd. I started having really bad pain in my butt. It feels like her head is hitting my anus (sorry if tmi) I was on bedreat and getting progetrone shots until this week they stopped giving them to me. I am 2 cm dialated but with my first i did not have labor pains i was induced felt nothing then felt everything lol. Could this be labor or could her head be pushing down? P.s. She dropped about a week and a half ago and i also already lost my mp about two weeks ago.

Hello girls. well i hate to say this but i'm starting to get really impatient!! i can't stand it any longer. I know we all have our times when when wanna give up and its my time. I feel so miserable. I'm such a planner type person and not knowing EXACTLY when my boy will come is killing me! if i happen to get induced like the doc said then it will be a big lift off my shoulders. maybe i need a good cry. thanks whoever is listening. :-)

I went to the hospital tonight for a BP of 156 - 160/80 that was consistent for over an hour. When I got there, my BP was between 129 - 136/70. WTF?! My dad is a registered EMT who took my pressure FOUR TIMES with a manual blood pressure cuff, and even took it when I was lying down, so I know I'm not insane. Plus I had a headache, was dizzy and nauseous. They're giving me another 24 hour urine test (joy of joys) but I could tell no one believed me. At least they were FINALLY worried about the pitted edema in my feet, ankles and legs. They told me it's not at all normal. I actually hope this urine test is conclusive in some way and it turns out I'm hypertensive or something, because otherwise no one's gonna take my symptoms seriously! Obviously I want us both to be healthy, but we're NOT, and the only symptom missing is consistently high BP -- I have the excessive weight gain, swelling, headaches, vision changes and everything else. Sigh.

ew. i went to the bathroom, wiped, and of course theres muscusy discharge. so i wipe again, and its there again. and i wipe again and again and again and its still coming out. how much mucus is in this baby tunnel?!

I totally agree Cali. I totally feel like I have my period at the moment!! Have done for the past couple of days! I know it's just my boy getting cosy down low so I'm not complaining!! I'm just so relieved he decided to settle into position and stop my doctor with all his ceasarian talk!!

i hate being checked, but i love the outcomes now :P she like FREAKS out when he pushes down on her. last appt, he pushed on her butt like normal, then he pushed on her head. i swear she tried to kick him in his boys, but it only hurt me :P

i just went yesteday and i dont go back until next week but on last saturday i had to go to l&d because i had 14 contractions in an hour. the nurse checked me and saidi was about 3cm and my cervix was getting soft so...

k...so I thought I lost the whole plug yesterday...but no..it's still coming! Lost 2 more pieces today! The contractions stopped last night...so didn't call the dr! Waiting for some more action!! Little man is still moving and grooving!

I second the can't breathing thing ladies! After my car accident they had me laying flat when they were doing my ultrasound and I seriously had to sit up in the middle of it. I thought I was going to pass out it was awful!

I saw a few people talking about pineapple causing contractions. I know it's recommended for helping with natural labor induction, but it's not for contractions. Pineapple contains bromeline (not sure of spelling) and it is said to help the cervix thin. If your doc says your cervix is closed, thick, and high then you might try eating a lot of FRESH pineapple. It has to be fresh because the canning process destroys the bromeline. Other things that help thin the cervix...eggplant and sperm! For those still 'doing the deed', after your partner ejaculates, elevate your hips for 15 minutes to keep the sperm on your cervix. The prostaglandins in the sperm will help thin your cervix, which in turn helps the cervix to begin dilation. Hope this helps!
