During these last few weeks of pregnancy, most women experience an increased urge to urinate. The uterus puts a lot of pressure on the bladder and can send you to the restroom frequently. Your uterus has actually grown 500 times throughout your pregnancy! Red blood cell production catches up with the production of plasma and physiological anemia may begin to fade at this time.
Your baby's eyes open during alert times and close during sleep. The eye color is usually blue, regardless of the permanent color as pigmentation is not fully developed. The final formation of eye pigmentation requires exposure to light and usually happens a few weeks after birth.

Attention all girls who've had c sections...today as I was walking around a community garage sale, I started getting REALLY bad cramps and a burning sensation right where my scar is. It lasted about 15 minutes or so and went away just as quick as it started. Then about 4 hours later it did it again lasting 10 minutes or so. It hurt so bad it almost made me tear up. Just wondering if anyone else has experienced this. I think it's scar tissue being pulled?? I go to Dr. Wednesday but will call sooner if it continues to happen. melodia33 -

Hello everybody! My midwife keeps telling me that baby is still with his head up. I know I need to be more active...and sitting upright..etc...is soo hard! Im just so uncomfortable!!!!! I can't even eat much cause my belly feels full right away! and I just got the flu! the last thing I needed~!
anyways, getting very anxious about meeting my boy!! can't wait!
I have been into prenatal classes last week and the midwife scare us all!!! she was a nightmare!! augh, felt terrible after that! I feel time is getting near and don't feel ready!!

I know we are getting closer and everything, but I think part of me is actually going into denial.I just want to healthy baby so much I just cant seem to accept that this birth is going to happen. Please help me not freak out...my hubby is starting a new job in 2 weeks and he has to go to 'training' the next state over for 6 weeks..He'll be gone 2 or 3 days at a time then home for 2 days and so on..He wont be able to go to birthing class now which I can handle, but Im mortified that he will miss the birth of our boy. Speaking of pregnancy moments...we hired a guy to do our lawn every couple of weeks (since obviously I am not doing it! And hubby is often away or busy). hi ladies. well i spent the evening in the er with pre term labor. i was having mild backpain, but when i went to the bathroom i had some slightly discolored discharge. i went right to the er, and sure enough my contractions were two minutes apart, but because of my cerclage i was not dialating. they gave me terbutaline(sp?), and an iv drip for fluids. thankfully the contractions stopped, but now i have to take it really easy, and go back the second i have another contration. please pray that my baby will stay just a few more weeks. hugs and belly rubs to all.angelbabies14 -

Hey mommies, it's shower day for me. I am excited but the first thing I thought when I got up (way to early) was I won't get my nap today lol shower starts at 2 then after the women do their womanly thing the guys come and do their manly thing (pizza and beer) after their day of golfing.. I'm going to be up late and naps usually help keep my mood chipper. I'm starting to think I should go lay back down and give sleeping another go. and I know we are pregnant and I love my dress but I'm just afraid for photos I'll look like I'm wearing a tent... anyway I just checked my registry and 10 things were purchased out of 40 people coming think maybe they just picked out whatever they wanted or maybe I'll just get gift cards so I can get the things I need. I can still shave my legs but I make regular trips to get pedicures. That is my mommy-to-be time. I just love it and sometimes hubby comes along too. I have a question too. I have had a strange uneasiness tonight (that's why I'm awake at 20 til 5 in Louisiana). I have had maybe 3 hours of sleep. I have a backache and so much pressure in my belly. I guess it is the BH's but I am so uncomfy. I took a shower and had a glass of milk and some tums thinking a good belch would ease some pressure. I would take something to help me sleep but it all makes me feel drugged and my hubby and I are driving in to New Orleans tomorrow for a nice day out. I hope this goes away. I was looking forward to taking a ghost tour. LOL Oh, and I am in week 34 now, see ya'll there!!ukdutypaid -

Don't feel badly! I put the aluminum foil box in the refrigerator! When we got home, I looked at my husband and said, 'PLEASE tell me YOU did that!' He started laughing really hard...after all I was the last one to use the aluminum foil! I had to laugh! And I envy that angelbabies14 can even reach her toes!!!! I can barely tie my shoes, much less hold a nailbrush! Hahah! Time for a pedicure I guess...that or wait for my sister to come in from out of town to paint them (hate to say this, but I just don't think hubby would be able to do a good job.) I was also told that the ultrasound estimations of size are not very accurate towards the end. My doctor said they claim to be accurate within 10% either way, but he thinks it is more than that. On Monday Addy was weighing in around 4lb12oz, which they said was normal. Then, yesterday, my MD said I was measuring about 37 weeks, but that fundal height is not that accurate, either. So I ask myself- how will they ever know who big the baby is? I have gestational diabetes, and my doc is already mentioning c-section. All I ask is that he exhausts all other possibilties before doing this, especially if they can't really tell how big Addy will be!Mindieswan -

Youngmommy9- I would not listen to the tech. I just went in for an ultrasound at 32 weeks and she told me I was measuring 4lbs 8oz. When I went to my doctor on Tuesday, she said that the tech was wrong. I was just over 3lbs. She said the further along you are, the ultrasounds are less accurate. I have read this as well. The tech's are not supposed to say anything, because they usuallly don't really know. My cousin was told her baby was 6lbs 11oz at 32 weeks and he was born 6lbs 07ozukdutypaid -

ok, now when they estimate the babys weight they do it by measuring the bones im guessing, now my brother was 6 weeks early and 22 inch's long. so if the predicited his weight he would have been a big baby, yet he was 4 pounds born. my twins were both estimated at 5 pounds, 1 was 5.7 and the other was 6.14
the bones they can see, all i hear is about how they keep getting it wrong, so i wouldnt take much notice. anyways good luck ladys.....the midwife will have a more of a chance knowing by feeling the baby in our tummy, youngmommy9 -

Hi everyone, hope your all doing well. My doctor ordered me another ultrasound a few days ago and the technician said that I was measuring small for my stomach and that the baby is 3.5 pounds. I dont really understand how she knew that but do you think that is too small? when people look at me they think im in my 4th month ..not my 8th!..im starting to worry a little bit..any suggestions?

yay ive finished work, my kids in the class made me a card and all the 4 yrs olds signed it, it was lovely, i gave them all gifts too. im in such a bad mood all the time, and then i ate 2 cakes a small cheesecake (1 portion) chocolate bar and a diet soda which has put me in an even worst mood.
maybe i can satrt taking naps in the day as im not sleepin at night and maybe, just maybe i will feel better and stop shouting at the kids... poor kids, theres ears must be sore...x.xbabesinaugust -

hey ladies just painting my nails and toenails for the baby shower tomorrow. I'm excited to see family I havent seen in forever. I'll solved my problem of not wanting to open all the gifts in front of people I always feel strange so I'm going to have my BF daughter open all her little sisters gifts she is so excited I asked her too. She keeps asking how long until the babyshower. I helped my mom prepare all the food yesterday but I still don't know where it is, they are trying to keep at least that part a surprise. Happy other people had a good week. Me on the other hand, not so good. Got food poisoning Sunday night, and have been sick since. Horrible pains in my stomach and intestines, which are already cramped up under my ribs. Not too fun. Trying to figure out what I ate, think it's from a salad bar place. @ K3fromHolland: A lot of babies that are born with hair do lose it and them it grows back in...that is what happened to my little sister when she was born. My daughter was born with VERY VERY little hair and at one year old, she still had less than 2 inches of hair on her head...the whole time I think she was beautiful! There are pictures on her part of my page, I dont think that anyone could say she was ugly, even if she was bald. Dont let your coworker bother you - just remember that jealousy makes people say strange things. :)warwickbaby -

My craving is strawberries! Big time!!! For long time already, from around February I have eaten a big pack every day (500 grams). Any other red fruit / vegetable would do, additionally to strawberries plums & tomatoes. If I see blueberries I cannot resist either. Must say, blueberries cost a fortune here. And, all these things are completely off season, and they do not taste like “real thing”. I don’t mind, I just must to have them!!!K3fromHolland -

Ladies Im so emotional today. Yes, Im big for my weeks. But somehow until today I didn’t have too many bad comments coming my way, besides the belly button thing (well, that’s big and showing also if im not wearing my belt)… Today it really happened to me as well. I just cannot keep it inside, its eating me. One of my colleagues was so very rude today with me. I work in HR together with her already for 3 years…. Having lunch breaks together and all. Today she said to me “I know how ugly your baby will look like. It will be this big red thing, completely bold”. Yes, my baby is measuring very big. And yes, the father is completely bold. To me, a BIG RED BOLD baby is NOT an ugly baby. Anyways I said to her that the last U/S showed some hair already couple of weeks ago. Then she said, “Oh first he comes out with long black hair and then they fall out and he will get bold” AND SHE IS quite a close colleague….
