hi, just got back from my growth scan my baby is measuring 3lb 11oz and doing well. They are very surprise that its growing perfectly with only one artery. By surprise they took some 4d pics i was in tears it was great. I have been showing them off. I cant believe how great the images are.

Anyone else feel as emotional as me. Now that school is over I'm bored out of my mind. Just sitting around being house mom until the baby arrives. My boyfriend has been pointing it out to me lately. I feel so bad that he has to put up with it because sometimes I don't even relize I'm being moody until he calls me back apologizing for what every stupid thing I've concocted and says he loves me and has a little laugh. That's when I feel really silly.

Yah my hubby sucks. He syas its not th ebelly or baby, but I know it is. He says its cuz he doesnt want to hurt me while I have an infection etc. Or he is too tired. Or whatever... so many excuses. I know how it may be weird for them, but still. HOWEVER I cant ciomplain that the other night well a week ago now, he pulled my pants off and put ly legs around his neck and well didnt DO me but you get the picture! I had an u/s prior to seeing my obgyn today. Our baby boy is measuring 9 days ahead of schedule but my doc is not changing the due date. I don't know if I'd go early...but we'll see. He weighs over 4lbs (1.9 kg) and positioned head down. His head is measuring a lot bigger (34 weeks but they said it looks normal). It was so comforting to know everything is going well since last week his movements had slowed way down and I was in panic. Hope everyone is doing well.

We've been ordered by our doctor not to do any lovin, since it caused me to go into preterm labour on Monday night! So now we're banned... It is very sad, since I am one of the ones who thoroughly enjoyed it throughout the pregnancy (aside from feeling like I was crushing my hunny).... But in case this baby does hang around for a while, I sure know how to induce labour!

hi.....my baby is definitely moving out of HEAD-DOWN position........or at least thats what it feels like.........the baby is moving around so strangely....at one stage both sides of my stomach were sticking out.....dont know what hes up too in there,v.strange & my lower back is killing me

moomommy - sex is this thing where a man comes at you with this very scary looking one eyed hard stick that is attached to these ugly chicken skin saggy sacs... weird... then he proceed to put this thing into your vagina! Yup your vagina, and moves himself in this odd manner until he is making weird noises and is somehow satisfied while us ladies are laying there wondering what happened... then some icky fluid leaks out of us... THEN magically these crazy lil critters get up inside us that came out of that one eyed monster and invade our eggs. That my dear is how we have these 20 armed massive blobs in our tummies giving us heartburt, sleepless nights, fat deposits, fat cheeks, weird cravings, hemmrhoids, yeast infections, leg cramps, hip pains, numb limbs... buuuuuuuuut eventually these masses eject from us and we are left with a beautiful little baby!

Oh Yeah! about heartburn! I have been told that if you raise the head of your bed by placing books or something under the legs that it really helps to alleviate the heartburn. ( its also great if you suffer from bags under your eyes ) raise it at least an inch or 2. good luck girls!

As for my lil girl being healthy and not looking like she was born at 27 weeks, I'd say she is definitely still fighting. She looks like a normal size baby almost...in pics..but in person...she is still so very small. 2 lbs 14 oz. :o) Today they are going to check her eyes (retinas). I hope that goes well. Thanks again for all of the positive energy...and this goes to all of you!!!! Bye for now...I really have to get to work. Muah!

Hey Tracy...you are suppose to be in quiet time right now...oh wait...and I should be getting ready for work...but since it's my day off, well it was suppose to be until I got asked to work...I get to go in on my time! LOL Laundry is more important right now anyway. And to answer your question...well...there was one time...we just couln't help ourselves...I mean...the last time was about a month before I gave birth since I was so uncomfortable...then it was almost 3.5 weeks after the birth and since I was all healed up (small baby) we went for it. LOL I went almost 2 months without!!! Give me some credit! ;o)

Hey all...you know what's weird? After 4.5 weeks of giving birth...I still test positive for being pregnant!!! I work in a lab so I can test myself. I would think by now my levels would be normal. Hope my fibroids aren't causing my HCG levels to remain elevated...some tumors can cause positive preg tests. On another note...Lord God I hope I'm not pregnant again...how would I handle that???

It seems that a lot of you are scared of L and D. If you get a chance, you should watch 'the Business of Being Born' (you can get it on Netflix). It has live births on there that are less 'sensational' than the ones they show in hospitals or health class. I am also taking a Hypnobirthing class, which has a text which goes through the history of how childbirth has been dealt with throughout the years. It also explains the mechanics of birthing and what your body does in order to do the job it was made to do. Before you freak out about the pain of childbirth, get educated on how it all works. It isn't supposed to be a horrible traumatizing experience. I'm not trying to preach, I just know I have learned a lot myself, and knowing what I know, I'm not scared of birthing...I'm more scared of unnecessary medical interventions.

So I just went to look at daycares. Not going to work for me. I had a meltdown haha I can't do it. I'm going to have to figure out another situation but I just don't feel comfortable putting my baby in a daycare at such a young age. Geezzze I haven't even MET the kid yet and I'm already overprotective haha I can only imagine how I'm going to feel when I actually see her.

xxxkylaxxx - I am pretty sure we ALL feel like this. Weather we admit it or not. I have stretch marks from my first pregnancy only, they are all over the backof my legs, my ass, my thighs and my hips. They FADE! I PROMISE! When they first came they were bright ugly ass purple and disgusting looking! Now they look like my natural skin color but you can see where they are. I do feel fat, ugly and flumpy. I have ass dimples... craters rather, and cellulite. My butt has grown so much I had to buy bigger underwear, and yes granny panites. I waddle when I walk and I feel stupid, I try to look sexy by doing my make up and I can make my face look good but then I stand up and walk and Im sure I make people laugh at me. I feel soooo frumpy. I see other women who are not pregnant and they are so beautiful and I feel jealous, never felt like that before. I hare pregnancy! It maeks us feel nasty! *sigh*

oh at doc yesterday.. he didn't do any measurements on Non-Stress test (being strapped to a machine and you have to click every time you feel a movement - normal process if you have GD so don't panic..) but he did an U/S too to review amniotic fluid levels and said all was ok... i asked what position baby was in and he said head down but said they can still turn again... but definately not ready to come out yet.. so that's good coz not ready yet either !

Who ever was talking bout implants I can relate. My boobs are so sensitive and soar, whoever said getting implants makes you knumb never got pregnant hehe. AND GIGANTIC, wholly smolly, I wanted bigger boobs but not E's LOL, they look like giant ape boobs LMAO. I don't think they even carry nursing bra's in regular stores that will fit, this is most likely going to be a challenge as I'm not that big around...36. And hot.. I didn't believe people who said...ohh your going to hate the heat, well I went on two vacations to DR and Hawaii earlier but now that the heat is here at home and I'am 30lbs heavier, I just wanna die ...plahhhhhhh ( not really ) but turn it down up there lol!

Hey ladies, Oh god i seem to be getting more and more stretch marks and there is nothing i can do all over my legs at the top and im sure they are cumming through on my belly know.I said i wouldnt mindit would all be worth it etc which im sure she will but im finding it hard having my partner see them i cant see how he can find me attractive right now with the way i look im huge and puffed out all te time and the stretch marks are really obvious. im feeling really low and body else feel like this???xx

I was upset last night and had a good cry too. It was a combination of things. Money worries being one. Then my little 6lb chihuahua was attacked at my inlaws by 2 dogs that are at least 3 times her size. And they did this just 2 weeks ago and made her bleed. So I FREAKED out. Then my hubby was late getting home to watch LOST, glad there are some other fans out there. I was just overly stressed by it all. I wanted to go home since we were staying at the inlaws while the new carpet was finished up and aired out. Tears kept coming and coming.

I am kinda freakin about the L and D too--- glad to know I am not alone with this right now... I am def. choosing the epidural route, I am 36 and this is my first -- I have spoken to MORE women who have stated the same thing, take the epidural, it makes it much more bearable and easier.. The epidural won't hurt, and is much safer than it once was, so don't be scared of that part! Although I think i will be scared of everything!!! But again, millions of women are doing it, and will till the end of time, so I know I will make it through it all.. AND yes I am sick of feeling so heavy and getting up to feel everything sink to my pelvic floor which hurts/pressure till I am standing a little while.. MY boobs r ridiculous- I have implants under the muscles, and was a smaller D I guess, now I am an E or possibly an F.... Grrrrrrr ... Dont like that one bit! I feel so much bigger than I should be- although my weight isnt out of control at just 25 pds over- well thats what it was last vidit, prob at 30 by now.. I am hoping for no more than 35 at delivery... Well, you guys keep me posted please! Hope all is well.. Blessings..:o)

Hello ladies...Goes to show that everyone is different...I am comfortable with the idea that I have no clue what to expect from L&D and that it will likely be worst than I expect BUT i am scared to death of epidurals...Am I strange? It is surprising to me as I usually have no problems whatsoever with needles!

Almost anything sets me off to crying. My husband went to bed last night before me and that made me cry....WTF is up with that. Also, doesn't matter what I am doing, if I am not laying down on my side with pillows behind my back, under my stomach and at least 2 under my head, I can't breathe. AT ALL!!! It's so aggervating

I actually cried last night just from sheer clumsiness and heaviness, thinking to myself that it's only going to get worst and then there is labor and then sleepless nights... I know that it will be all worth it and I will forget about it when I see her, BUT right now it's 'I am feeling sorry for myself' tears.

19sarah87 thats what i was taking the first part of my pregnancy and the doc said to take it as needed... and i know there were times that i was eating half the bottle as well... now i use gaviscon MAX and you really only need 1-2 tablets and i find it works way better... that just my experience though:)

MooMommy they do it so we're well informed. I totally understand where you and everyone else is coming from. After my last class I don't even want to chance a epidural. At this point the only thing I'm certain of is he's coming out one way or the other.
