Most pregnant women begin to feel cramped and heavy around this time and often become tired of being pregnant. Some women feel like they do not have to room to breathe or eat. You should eat small, but frequent, meals and rest as often as you can throughout the day. Your cervix will begin to dilate and efface within the next few weeks to make room for your baby's head to emerge from the birth canal. Your cervix needs to be 10 cm dilated in order to deliver your baby.

This week of your pregnancy your baby's fingernails will have definitely reached the tips of his fingers. When your baby is born, his nails may look long and pointy. Your baby is less likely to scratch himself at this point because of the lack of room in the uterus. Fat deposition will still continue and your baby is getting chubbier and rounder. Your baby's shoulders are plump at this point.

The baby begins to develop its own immune system.

BH i reckn. If they go away if ur up walking or u change positions then BH. If they get regular and dont go away and bcome more intense then they r the real deal. I got some full on contractions when I didn't have enough to drink, so make sure ur not dehydrated!

Mommy03, whatever I can do to help...haha. I've always been a big ol' night owl, and an easy napper, too. My husband can't nap to save his life. I am wondering if being a night owl will make it easier for me to get through the months in which he doesn't sleep through the night. That's good that you plan to go for walks. That's such good exercise. I have been tiring so easily the last few days. I have a Mama Yoga DVD that I do sometimes--it feels so nice to get those stretches in!

I was going to rag on the appearance and smell of balls, earlier, but I had just made a gay comment to try and cheer up Snuggles and figured that I should wait a little while, haha. BALLS--who thinks they're pretty? Who does Mister Snuggles think he is, comparing anything to 'something on his balls'? Balls don't need anything on them. Balls, in and of themselves, are gross, and men should feel so lucky that we will excuse the appearance and smell of their sweaty, vinegary balls in order to accept the men they're attached to and because they DO serve a purpose. I know I have read before some ladies posting comments and concerns on here about period like cramps, but I don't remember what was said. I have had them for about 2 days now, with horrible back pain. I had lots of UTI's and even a kidney infection with my first that even landed me in the hospital. But not even a trace of one with this baby. But I don't know what these cramps are about. I can't sleep or even sit, I am so uncomfortable. Baby dropped on Sunday and I felt great all day, but then this on Monday afternoon. Any feedback, please?

COULD THINGS GET ANY WORSE? i had to go back to the doctor today because i thought i lost a little of my mucus plug and low and behold i was right. apparently i've effaced more, he didn't say how much. And he was like 'i think you'll go into labor in the next 24-48 hours' ARE YOU FREAKING KIDDING ME! i have a visitation to go to Thursday night, a funeral Friday morning, and a baby shower Friday night...and here he is trying to tell me i'll probably go into labor in one or two days. FIRST, you CANNOT predict when i'll go into labor so WHY EVEN TELL ME! So, now i'm sitting here wondering if I will along with worrying about the step-dad's funeral arrangements and the baby shower brad's family is having. I DO NOT have the brain capacity to deal with all this shit. He should have just left me guessing... a small upside to all the craziness is the possibility of meeting my son and the chicco carseat his mom is going to go buy for ayden tomorrow

My little girl is doing great tonite. They say tommorrow she is moving to a 'big girl' bed which means she dosent need an incubator anymore-yay She is up to 3lbs 9oz. Oh see, when someone blames my anger on PMS or now, pregnancy, I want to go postal. We have a right to be offended when someone behaves rudely, any time it happens. I wish I knew what the hell his problem is lately. When we were at the doctor yesterday, he informed me that he wasn't sure if he could be in the delivery room. WHAT?! Just being nervous and worried about Gavin's heart rate being high and not knowing why, had him too messed up with his blood pressure and anxiety. Nice, real nice.
