Dates and numbers:
There are 67 days until your due date on September 15, 2008.
You are 213 days pregnant.
You are 7 months pregnant.
You are in your 7th month of pregnancy.
Your 1st trimester: December 10, 2007 to March 09, 2008. (0 - 12 weeks)
Your 2nd trimester: March 10, 2008 to June 22, 2008. (13 - 27 weeks)
Your 3rd trimester: June 23, 2008 to September 15, 2008. (28 - 40 weeks)

You may feel as if you have been pregnant forever at this point. It might be hard to imagine being pregnant for another ten weeks, but your baby still has a lot of growing and developing to do! By this time, your baby\'s crown-to-rump length is a little over 10.8 inches and the total length of your baby is about 17 inches! Your baby weighs about 3 pounds now. Your uterus can be felt about 4 inches above your bellybutton. Your uterus, baby, placenta and the amount of fluid will get larger over the next ten weeks. You should be gaining about a pound a week at this time.
Because you are getting larger, you are probably becoming slower and clumsier. You should try to be careful to avoid dangerous falls. Good posture when sitting and standing can help you feel better during your pregnancy. You also should be rolling over on your side to get up after lying down because your muscles have stretched to accommodate your growing uterus.
Even though your baby is cushioned by the amniotic fluid, she can feel and respond to pain. Your baby now does `practice breathing` to get ready for life outside of your womb. If you have an ultrasound at this time, you will be able to see this. If your baby swallows amniotic fluid, it could cause her to have hiccups that will be noticeable by you. If your baby were born at this time, she would be able to keep herself warm.
The skin begins to smoothen as fat deposits accumulate underneath. The fat insulates and is an energy source.

jessiboo, a good way to keep cool is to also put an ice pack behind your neck when your sitting up or laying down, but makesure you put something over it, so you don't get skin burn. Your neck and wrist are the number one body parts to cool the rest of your body down.J.baby -

jessiboo- to cool off I take a nice little stroll through the mall :) it is always air conditioned! @ night, if i need it, i use an gel ice pack that i keep in the freezer...i put it in a pillow case an rest my feet on it. cooling down my feet seems to cool off most my body. I also keep lots of popcicles in the freezer, fruit in the fridge...& eat that for a snack to cool me off during the day. or night if i cant sleep. good luck, my house is an oven too!jessiboo17 -

What do you do to cool off in a heat wave???? Our normal temps where I am are 20 at night and 25 in the day but it's been 30 at night and 35 during the day (celsius) and it's SOOO humid! I feel like one of the ppl in a commercial where I'm wearing a winter coat in the summer! I keep taking cold showers and we have no AC. I'm ready to freak!!! lolmommyrock -

Hello ladies. Well as most of you know I was finally given an answer to the sex of my baby....ITS A GIRL !! What a long ride that was. Not knowing was driving me crazy !! So doc said hes 90% sure. However since I was told boy so early Im still not able to believe its 100% girl quite yet. Take a look at the U/S on my page and let me know what you think. Thanks !!tandiann -

BTW I called a local surgeon and was told that very likely they will be able to go in following my c/s to repair the hernia that I got with baby #1 and had gotten worse this time around. Just in case this is anyone else's situation, look into it. One surgery vs. 2 seems like a win win to me. tandiann -

So I took my 3 hour glucose this morning. Keep your fingers crossed for me. It was a long 3 hours. I brought our portable dvd player along and am so glad I did as I was in an 8x8 room with no windows. And it was cold. So I managed to get through it and am impatiently waiting to hear whether pass or fail. Also, is anyone have a pain in their lower right side? Mine gets worse when I gotta potty and go to sit down. Is this just me?carmellonmommy -

krissie-Go online and look for Depends. If you don't have them in the UK you can find something similar! Or, just ask your dr.mommabrandy -

jb1- I have had endo for almost 10 years. It goes into remission during pregnancy, so there are no effects from it. I bled the same every time, before the endo and after the endo.mommytobe08 -

No endrometriosis so I don't know. The first week is very heavy and then if you limit your activity it does just go to a heavy period. I just get grossed out how when you are sitting or lying down it like 'pools' and then when you stand up it flows out so heavy. This will be wierd for me to be bleeding donw there with no pain. My first to my crotch was so sore from all the stiches plus blood, this one I will have a sore belly from the c-section and blood without crotch pain. Wierd. Mommyofthree is right, if you just keep putting things in your bag they will keep stocking them and you will have more and more. Like I said it is not stealing, everything you take is charged to your insurance and they pay it. You would die if received the itemized bill and what they charge for that stuff it is rediculous. jb1mama -

I remember the bleeding, but mine wasnt so bad I just wore the always with wings extra long and that was fine for me, I did this all three times.....You do have to take it easy after childbirth for a couple of weeks, my bleeding slowed down after like the 4th day and them it was like a normal period for the next two weeks, not so bad from my experiance:)~mommyofthreetobe -

The hospital wll give youpads while in the hosp, so if you put them in your bag then they will bring you more. If you want more or need more while in the hospital just ask the nurse if you dont want them then you need to bring your own from home. I suggest going with the hosp pads they are bigger and holds more so you dont leak as bad. Also NO tampons til you go back to the doc in 6 weeks.jb1mama -

about all the bleeding we will have after baby is born.... so the hospital supplies all the pads for you to use right? Or is it best to bring your own and especially if you want depends??kelh73 -

What mommyofthreetobe said is true. Everyone varies, But I have never known any of my friends or family to say they weren't HEAVILY bleeding after giving birth. It is gross and very heavy and you will be amazed that you could lose that much blood and still be alive. You have to realize not having a period for 10 months and housing a child allows Lots and Lots of blood to store up. It does sometimes come out in clumps and clots. Your doctor will tell you if you pass one larger then a golf ball to call him. I didn't use depends with either of my pregnancies although it sounds like a good idea I may try this time. I did however take every pad the hospital stocked in my room as they are the best for pads and they will your insurance for them anyway. Also the gauze undies suck, but work good for a while as not to ruin your underwear. If you are going to opt for the pads and underwear bring sone of you oldest grossest granny panties as you will likely leak and throw them away when it is finally over.
Along with that tip of taking the pads home with you. Make sure you CLEAN OUT the baby cart they leave stocked in your room because the nurses even told me that they can't reuse it and our insurance has already been billed. THis is diapers, bottles, nipples, pacifires, I even took one of the blankets as they swaddle better then any others. brandice81 -

hi ladies, a little off subject now but ive got a question, sometimes when I lay down no matter what side it is, i feel like someone is choking me, it honestly feels like someone has there hands around my neck and i can barely breathe, and i get kind of light headed. i change positions but sometimes it dosent matter it dosent go away and now im starting to notice i feel like this just sitting but not to much. Is this somethig normal or should i call the doctor, i have an appointment friday but im not sure if i should wait till then! Thanks in advance. mommyofthreetobe -

It varies with everyone. You bleed a lot and you probably will think you need some blood to replace it. Regular long pads will NOT work, i tried that with my first one and have accidents daily. I learned with my second. Depends are awesome and you can find them in the pharmacy aisle in most stores like Wal-mart or K-mart. You can get either diapers or huge pads, both work best. You will thnk us all later.
Is anyone on here have a cafe mom website. I started on and it seem fun you meet other moms like on here but most of them have kids or are having kids and it give you someone to communicate with after baby is born. my site is amy918.evangeline -

I had a doctor's appointment last night and the doctor seemed concerned that the baby is measuring 2 and a half weeks big according to a sonogram i had week 26. From what I am reading this is pretty common to measure big.He is having me have another sonogram at week 34 to see how big the baby is. I am siked to get a chance to see the baby again. I told him my mom had my brother 2 weeks early and he was 10 pounds. Oh well as long as the baby is healthy.carly4bump -

im really sorry to seem to keep going on about this.. but can some one be a little bit more detailed for me as this is the first time ive came across this none of friends have even mentioned this to me.... so how much to we bleed are we just tlking like a heavy period that last a long time, or we tlking about needing a drip to replace the loose that amount.lolMKsAngel -

I've never actually seen adult diapers too and was thinking I'd bring along some regular overnight period pads, but if you guys say it's that heavy, I guess those won't do. Thanks for the tips mommies. This is truly helpful for those of us first-timers.carly4bump -

carmellonmommy -Even if you have a c-section you willstill have this bleeding. It is basically like the heaviest period you have ever had in your life and lasts for anywhere from 2-4 weeks after you give birth. It starts immediately after you deliver the baby and goes on until it has shed/cleansed out all of it. Not to gross you out but so you understand what you will experience you will even have large clumps of blood that will come out. Nothing but industrial strength pads, buy extra long and take everything you can get from the hospital will work. Don't overdo either as you will bleed longer. I found this out wiht my second child. I only blead for 2 weeks with my first and 4 weeks with my second from overdoing things. I believe we basically pay for not having to have a period for 10 months at the end :-)chelles -

evangeline ~ I'm so lucky I'm no longer working. I understand what you're saying about being clumsy. It's like I'm always falling over, losing my balance. I'm also so forgetful. Oh and yes, I'm sooooooooooo irritable. Poor hubby. God bless him though coz he adjusts and doesn't get back at me for it. When I say I'm sorry after a couple of minutes, he says he understands and wishes there was something he could do to help. =)Libbysmama -

You will bleed SO much after you have the baby, it truly no joke...probably for at LEAST the first week. Your underwear WILL be destroyed. I use the disposable underwear, and the HUGE pads they give you in the hospital. You may laugh, if you've never had a baby...but trust me girls. The Depends STRETCH with your sore body, they WILL NOT ROLL DOWN your still swollen belly, but stay in place. One less thing to worry about. They used to sell these Playtex disposable underwear in paks. of 6, they were pink. They just pulled on like regular underwear and were SOOOO comfortable after giving birth. I can't find them anymore, so Depends are the next best thing. If they get blood on them they just go into the trash. Sure, they aren't the most attractive, but you will not even care about that...you will just be glad to take your baby home and get some sleep!!!evangeline -

I know! having a baby is an eye opener! Oh my god really? adult diapers? wow... I would never have thought to use them. I think i would feel funny using them. I have completely forgotten what its like to have a baby. i am sleeping very well too i have to say,and i dont need to run to the bathroom that often either. But the heartburn is killer. i feel like the acid has burnt holes in my oesaphagus! So i suppose thats my cross to bear. but its all worth it when i feel the little one kicking around inside. Its kicking at half five every morning the last week, but it wakes me up with a smile!mctreaties -

ok ladies - i need to vent a little bit. went to dr yesterday thinking everything was fine - i was down 2 pounds my blood pressure was way up and when i mentioned that jack was kinda mellow yesterday i was sent to the hospital for monitering. i absolutely love my dr and totally trust her judgement so off iwent - the nurse at the hospital though made me feel kinda stupid that i hadnt felt him, and questioned my bp because her electric machine read normal. why couldnt she be as nice as the dr? she made it seem like it was my choice to go down there - and that if i didnt pay better attention id be right back there again. does she really think i wanted to spend almost 2 hours at a hospital???? sorry it was so long - just totally frustrated.3rdtymeround -

I think the birth of a child is a special moment for your husband and you only to share. You created this child alone together and you should bring this child into the world the same way. I get completely grossed out with these people and thier Birth Parties. You see thier Fathers down there with a video camera. Everyone in thier family and friend network can stand there and stare at there whoo ha. Not real special to me, gross.
Even if my Mom or sister wanted to be in there my husband would not put up a fight about it but I am sure he would be disappointed that it wasn't just going to be our special moment again like with our other two. There are just some things that I think a man and wife should share alone, but to each his own, whateve makes you happy. carmellonmommy -

Im at week 30 have to go for a blood test and scan tomorrow, Ive been getting very itchy feet hands arms and legs so they are checking for obstetric choelatitis which is a liver disorder in pregnancy, I have to fast today then wait a week for the results if it comes back positive they may have to deliver baby early so I have to wait and see, feel pregnant forever now and I want it to be over now.
