Dates and numbers:
There are 65 days until your due date on September 30, 2008.
You are 215 days pregnant.
You are 7 months pregnant.
You are in your 8th month of pregnancy.
Your 1st trimester: December 25, 2007 to March 24, 2008. (0 - 12 weeks)
Your 2nd trimester: March 25, 2008 to July 07, 2008. (13 - 27 weeks)
Your 3rd trimester: July 08, 2008 to September 30, 2008. (28 - 40 weeks)

You may feel as if you have been pregnant forever at this point. It might be hard to imagine being pregnant for another ten weeks, but your baby still has a lot of growing and developing to do! By this time, your baby\'s crown-to-rump length is a little over 10.8 inches and the total length of your baby is about 17 inches! Your baby weighs about 3 pounds now. Your uterus can be felt about 4 inches above your bellybutton. Your uterus, baby, placenta and the amount of fluid will get larger over the next ten weeks. You should be gaining about a pound a week at this time.
Because you are getting larger, you are probably becoming slower and clumsier. You should try to be careful to avoid dangerous falls. Good posture when sitting and standing can help you feel better during your pregnancy. You also should be rolling over on your side to get up after lying down because your muscles have stretched to accommodate your growing uterus.
Even though your baby is cushioned by the amniotic fluid, she can feel and respond to pain. Your baby now does `practice breathing` to get ready for life outside of your womb. If you have an ultrasound at this time, you will be able to see this. If your baby swallows amniotic fluid, it could cause her to have hiccups that will be noticeable by you. If your baby were born at this time, she would be able to keep herself warm.
The skin begins to smoothen as fat deposits accumulate underneath. The fat insulates and is an energy source.

Sorry...should have clarified more...So far we have spent only $45 and that was on the bedding set, everything else was handed down to us...I'm not trying to buy things new by any means, and I found a dresser that would work on ikea.com for only $49 and a cheap rocker for $29...but he completely blew up at the fact that he was going to have to spend more than $5 or $10 on a dresser. That's why I was so upset.beatlebabeplusone -

it's true what they say with second child your much more relaxed about things. This is my second and with my first I went overboard and bought everything new this time around I've not bought anything new almost everything has come from a car boot sale or ebay, my theory is I sold most of my stuff these ways and there was nothing wrong with it so why shouldn't I buy second hand i've saved a small fortune !luckywhite -

My doctor would have signed me off work a few weeks ago, but as i'm only a casual worker i wouldnt have been paid.
But it's my last day at work tommorrow, i really dont know how i've worked at a housekeeping job for so long. Especially as i get no help at all.

kpnutt: idk how i did it before but i worked 35-40+ hrs a wk. My doc took me out of work about 2 wks ago b/c of my sciatic nerve on my left side which made it impossible for me to stand more than 10 mins. But I honestly don't know how I made it through 28 wks of work while being pregnant & constantly on my feet w/o a break. kpnutt -

U can take ur usual pain killers thats it if its a hole in ur tooth or sumthing put ya usuall pain killer where the tooth ache is and let it desolve in that place instead of drinking water with it it taste nasty but it works just keep doing it every so oftensharra -
3.4 hours ago
Hey Agonzales, yes you can use oral gel and if it's that bad you need to go to dentist. They can numb the gum area and you can use a pain killer if they need to do work. I am waiting on a root canal, but my OBGYN ok the removal and all the meds used to take while recovery. It is best to do it now, so baby is not effected by narcardic the closer you get to birth if you need pain managment. My response is only for my situation...so, please talk to your dr for information for you. Good luck, don't suffer if you don't have to.agonzales -

Don't you hate it when your in a store, esp a grocrey store and all of a sudden you feel dizzy, hungry, and you feel like you are going to puke.....all at the same time? I always feel good when I go out and in the middle of my shopping I have to pause and take care of myself. You never know what your body will do next!katykat -

ugh kpnutt...somedays it's a struggle!!! And I have an easy job! Well, ok, not EASY per se, but I sit at a desk all day long and dont' have to do anything physical. BUT I work 12 hour shifts and have to put up with gripy police officers all day long. I'm sooooo looking forward to my maternity leave, I think I'm going to start mine about two weeks before my due date if I can. Also, I have done mucho research online all morning (I'm bored, what can I say?) and I'm posting my list of things I need to buy or register for before baby comes...granted, this is my first baby so I don't exactly really know what I'm talking about LOL but all the same, if you read it and think of anything I've left out please let me know! Thanks!kpnutt -

lmao give me a bit of motown any day...ive definately got to the point where i say 'oh turn it down it's too loud' and b4 i was pg when we went to a club i would be thinking 'why does it have to be so loud u cant have a conversation in here!'
on a totally different topic...i was just thinking for all those of us that know the sex of our babies doesnt it feel weird the thought of NOT knowing now. for example when i think back to b4 20 weeks i cant imagine not knowing i was carrying a little girl. she has become such a huge part of my life now...i feel like she has her own personality and everything! im so excited to meet her!judi -

Hmm, I don't have an ipod, but could borrow one from one of my kids - pretty sure there are several in the house, but I'd have to swap their 'Disturbed', 'Breaking Benjamin' and 'Corn' for my 'Billy Joel' and 'Bob Dylan'...*preciousgem* -

Hey there, mumtojack. Yes, it's getting very exciting. I had a vivid dream last night that we had the little one, and have been thinking of it all day :) Sorry I don't know what your midwife meant about "back to back". Doesn't seem to make any sense, if his bottom is sticking out in front!mumtojack -

Hi Ladies, do any of you know what it means when your baby is back to back? My midwife said that's how my little one is sitting. I know his bum is always sticking out on the front (so cute)! But i kinda thought it would mean his back against mine??

Libbaby4, yeah, DH is sweet but depending on him to pack for you???? No... I think it's a good idea to be ready 'just in case'. Also, that way, if there are things you've forgotten, you have plenty of time to think of other things you might wish you had. I packed mine ages ago, but keep adding more other items I just hadn't thought of. Libbaby4 -

You ladies are so inspiring about getting your hospital bags ready. I'm going to get mine together! The more I think about it I would hate to have to rely on my dh to get things together if I end up going in early.Libbaby4 -
