Dates and numbers:
There are 88 days until your due date on January 03, 2009.
You are 192 days pregnant.
You are 6.3 months pregnant.
You are in your 7th month of pregnancy.
Your 1st trimester: March 29, 2008 to June 27, 2008. (0 - 12 weeks)
Your 2nd trimester: June 28, 2008 to October 10, 2008. (13 - 27 weeks)
Your 3rd trimester: October 11, 2008 to January 03, 2009. (28 - 40 weeks)
You are now in the third trimester, and last, of your pregnancy! Your baby's crown-to-rump length is about 9.6 inches and your baby's total length is approximately 15.3 inches! Your baby now weighs about 2 pounds 3 ounces and is going to grow rapidly during this last trimester! Your uterus is about 2.8 inches above your bellybutton.
If your baby were born now, it would have an 85% chance of surviving. Even though your baby is still not fully developed, she would be well within the limits of premature viability. You still have approximately 13 weeks left of your pregnancy, and during this time your baby must continue to grow and develop. If your baby was born at this time, she would have several complications that would require special attention. Because babies do not have adequate amounts of fat at this time, your baby would have to be kept inside of an incubator for warmth. Because the air sacs in your baby's lungs do not yet have surfactant, she would require an artificial respirator. Your baby's brain, liver and immune system still need to develop more also.
Make sure you take good care of your teeth. So-called `
pregnancy gingivitis` affects most pregnant women to some degree, and generally occurs in the second trimester. If you already have gingivitis, the condition is likely to worsen during pregnancy.
Your baby can develop hiccups

We are still in the cities but not in downtown and maybe it is just being north rather then south or something like that because he is all weird. When we are up north in the woods things are really easy you just have to worry about bears other then that you can have your doors wide open and you are ok.cissy -

I was good about not being scared of things before I would go into Minneapolis and walk around or get a bus and be just fine but the husband makes you just want to not feel safe doing things by yourself so I really have not gone since moving in with him. I would go to concerts all the time and now I feel I have to have someone come with me or he will drive and drop me off at the door just because he is scared, makes things a little hard. hardlyshowing -

Please, I grew up in the City and I am still a scaredy cat! That is scary Ellie. Do you have an alarm system? Thinking about adding some more locks? The alarm systems are helpful; some even alert you when there's CM or a fire. So glad you and hubby are ok.amber0225 -

So, on Saturday night/actually early Sunday morning (at 4 a.m.), my husband wakes me up and says 'someone's knocking at our door.' I wake up and hear knocking and door bell ringing. We peek outside the window, and there's a black car with the lights and engine on on our street outside our home ... there's a guy standing outside the passenger door and the driver was apparently at our door ... the rings and knocks became more fast and frequent. We're freaking out. There was NO WAY we were going to open the door. The guy finally left and the car, sparked up a cig and slowly creeped the car down our street to the cul de sac. It turned around, came back by and left. Well, we call 911 and then the car comes back down our street!!!! It was so freaky. These were two white guys (probably meth heads) in their 20s. Our front door and sidewalk that leads up to our door is right by the nursery. I couldn't imagine how even more freaked out I would have been had the baby been in her crib with these creeps just a few feet away with nothing to separate them but a window. The cops didn't do anything and we still can't figure out who the a-holes/potential murderers? were that woke us up early Sun. morning.amber0225 -

Oh and I finally got to feel hiccups last night myself. I almost woke DH up but seeing as he was out all night at his friend's bachelor party and had been drinking I figured I'd leave him be. Probably be like waking the dead. Also today is his birthday! =D Anyone else have a constant runny nose? Plus I think mine has been bleeding for a total of 5 days so far.lemonysickness -

Ajcuk- I am the same way about sleeping in. I was up at 6am this morning. Figured it was a good time to get a little nooky in with the hubby. He didn't seem to mind. But it wore me out and put me right back to sleep for 2 hours! You should try it!Mama Bear -

Wow! I can't believe I'm this far along already! It seems like just yesterday I took a pregnancy test with my husband and found out I was pregnant!
Anyways, the baby kicks and hiccups are becoming more frequent. The hiccups don't come but every now and then, and I can feel the baby kick and move alot! I'm starting to get a little bit more tired than I usually do too.
I've started going back to my doctor every 2 weeks now. It's only a matter of time when it's going to be every week. I can't wait to be a mom though!ALLECIA73 -

As much as I love my girl's kicks, they're extremely high, up under my ribs and they really hurt. She's active almost CONSTANTLY and as my placenta is directly on top, I can feel her everywhere. Feel very lucky he or she is kicking low, those kicks don't hurt at all!amber0225 -

My little one isnt very active either and she is def. low. I have actually told everyone when she decides to drop later on I will be holding her in.annan617 -

I am not feeling the baby kick a lot either and it feels low too-my Dr said my baby is lying underneath the placenta which is ok and when that happens you won't feel lots and lots of kicks.sillymamaof3 -

sandrineandbbboy- i feel the same way. if i do feel the baby its way 'in' or 'low' so i dont feel much on the outside. maybe the baby is just in there differently this time? lemonysickness -

sandrineandbbboy - My little one kicks a lot still but definitely not as much as she use to. I'm putting it down to the fact that she is just running out of room. I feel her shifting more than actual kicks. Oh and she still kicks extremely low too. I swear I believe a foot will eventually pop out early lol.sandrineandbbboy -
