Dates and numbers:
There are 125 days until your due date on March 27, 2009.
You are 155 days pregnant.
You are 5.1 months pregnant.
You are in your 6th month of pregnancy.
Your 1st trimester: June 20, 2008 to September 18, 2008. (0 - 12 weeks)
Your 2nd trimester: September 19, 2008 to January 01, 2009. (13 - 27 weeks)
Your 3rd trimester: January 02, 2009 to March 27, 2009. (28 - 40 weeks)
Your baby's crown-to-rump length is approximately 7.6 inches and your growing baby weighs about 12.25 ounces now! Your uterus is about 2 cm above your bellybutton and you probably feel comfortably pregnant. Your growing tummy is not yet large enough to get in the way and you should still be able to bend over and sit without much trouble. You might be enjoying your pregnancy more than ever at this point if morning sickness was an issue in the early weeks.
Your baby's body continues to grow and develop every day. The organ systems in your baby's body are becoming specialized for their particular functions. The fetal liver produces different enzymes than it will produce after delivery. The liver is responsible for breaking down billirubin, which is produced by the breaking down of blood cells. Because the life span of a fetal red blood cell is shorter than that of an adult, a fetus produces more billirubin than adults do. Billirubin passes from fetal blood to the placenta and then into your blood. Your liver helps get rid of fetal billirubin. A newborn baby that has high levels of billirubin may show signs of jaundice. Jaundiced babies have a yellowish tint to their eyes and skin and are often treated with phototherapy.
Your baby's senses are developing daily. The fetus now has a full complement of neurons in the brain and is learning about her body and surroundings through touch. Touch is one of the first senses to mature and your baby may stroke its face or feel her arms and legs.
Your blood volume has increased more to meet the demands of your pregnancy. Most of the increase is in the form of plasma, the liquid part of your blood. This has the ability to dilute your blood and give you physiological anemia, which occurs during pregnancy. The measure of blood dilution is called Hematocrit and the levels reach their lowest points this week. You should check with your doctor to make sure you are not developing more serious forms of anemia.
Your baby now shows an extremely rapid brain growth (which lasts until five years after birth).
The ovaries of female fetuses contain primitive egg cells, all of the eggs a woman will have for her entire life. The uterus of female fetuses is also fully formed.

well I really wasn't mocking abything. I really like hearing the different cultures and the things that you do differently. I would sit and have coffee, never tea. That is all I was saying. I hope you did not take it wrong..
By the way, during election time, my husband kept saying that we were going to move to New Zealand bc he hears it is a great place to live (of course we are not moving)... My2nd -

HiLadies! Found out yesterday that my baby is a BOY! Another for me and last! So I guess I am a all-boys-mommy :-) No more kids for us, I will have to make peace with the fact that Tessa (my lovely boerboel) and I are the only two bitches on the premises :-)
Have a great weekend all!lmommytobe -

Your kids are absolutely gorgeous. I love there mix. I au paired in the states after I finished school, and my kiddies was a mix of Italian and Korean and they where beautiful kids. I'm Afrikaans and my hubby is Afrikaans/Irish - so besides my kids picking up on there daddy's and grandparents Irish accent - they won't have any interesting mix, however I still can't wait to meet my little princess, I've got no doubt that she is going to be gorgeous.nikki2kidsan1ondaway -

i should have said that europe being england part so just white which is what we call it here in new zealand lol sorry forget that people have different sayings for things... my grandad is english his father was born in london and my grandma is scotish so that my mum which we call europeian ie white and my dad is italian. and my hubby dad is full indian hindu and his mum is maori which is a new zealand decendant is what new zealand is known for the maoris but if you look it up we dont look like that living over here times have changed since then lol as we are now a mixed race..
the photos of my kids dont bring out there full looks in person they are much darker looking and have darker hair and eyes. i think they look more like there dad than me tho which is good as i am very white my mums side came out more instead of my dads :(Mims -

DNA86, I had bacteria vaginosis around my 3rd month of pregnancy. The medicine my OB/GYN gave me specifically said on the package (For Non-Pregnant Women). She said it was still o.k. and I wouldn't have any problems. I looked online for hours and worried myself to death before finally just taking the medication. I think the pros outweigh the cons. I only had one dose for my treatment and can't remember the name of the prescription, but I think you'll be ok.
DulcianasMom, I know exactly what you're talking about. I get that all the time, and the doctors keep trying to tell me it's just normal stretching, but I don't understand why it would do that when i relieve myself. I try to explain that feeling and you would think they know what I'm talking about, but then again maybe it is ligament pain. All I know is it's a little crazy. I was scared when it first started happening, now I'm just use to it, LOL!! Good Luck.

peanutrocks:
Pregnancy and breast feeding
Use of Eurax during pregnancy, particularly during the first trimester, is not advised.
It is not known whether Eurax passes into the breast milk. Nursing mothers should avoid applying Eurax in the area of the nipples.
HERES ANOTHER ONE:
Warnings
Consult doctor before using on infants. Patients with raw or weeping skin conditions should not use this product. For external use only. Keep away from eyes and broken skin. Not recommended in pregnancy, especially the first trimester.
I WOULD REALLY CALL YOUR DOCTOR TOMORROW OR SPEAK TO THE NURSE! BUT IM SURE EVERYTHING IS FINE.. JUST STOP USING IT UNTIL U SPEAK TO HIM OR SEE HIMDulcianasMom -

dulci i know what you mean it happens to me i get the feeling for a while after i pee i think that it is because the baby i bigger now and my bladder is finding it hard to go down fast before baby gets in the way so it goes down slowly make sence reason i say this as i can feel the baby near it so it must be compressing on it also i need to pee right after i have had the bigest pee and it is still i big pee so i think that baby is playing games with me.....
i wouldnt worry about it to much if your drinking lots of water then you wont really get a uti but to be on the safe side i would go out and buy some cranbery juice and drink that then that will hold the uti at bay as you might have a start of one but thats just to ease your mind really like you say you drink alot of water..... im finding it hard to sit there an drink water so has anyone got anytips on how to keep drinking water water in this pregnancy makes my sick if i drink more that 3 glasses but i drank like a fish with my other 2... pro[ably why i was so big fluid build up lolpeanutrocks -

thanks girls, i appreciate all your comments:) i honestly think i sometimes drink too much liquids and then hold it for too long (i have a bad habit of doing that) and then when i go that is why it hurts, just my bladder shrinking back to size b/c it was overstretched and there really isnt that much room down there anymore:)MrsR -

Dulcianasmom, does it hurt really low in your pelvis? I get that sometimes, I think its ligament pain. Dna86, have you talked to your OB about your concerns? The benefits of taking the medication may outweigh the risks if you don't. DulcianasMom -

No, it just started within the past couple days and there is no burning when pee. I've had UTI's before i this doesnt feel like it. But, i think i may call the OB/GYN office just to be on the safe side...CJwaiting4no3 -

ok so finally i decided to start the medication for the bacterial vaginosis yesterday well i didnt wanted to use it after we have read like the risks if you are pregnant, im not going to lie im scared and i was scared last night when my husband was putting the gel in the risk its that somehow it could go inside the baby's lil bag and that could be fatal, nothing like this had ever happend with a pregnant girl but they had tested on pregnant mice and from 6 just to one of them that had happend so im scared i still have 4 lil tubes to go i decided it to go for the gel because i read the risk of tablets and the gel and the gel was less risky than the tablets thats why i decided to go for it, but then when we read the instructions my husband and i started to freak out, i read on internet that even if i had it while i was delivering and they will nose that i have it they will gave me some antiboitics so the baby didnt had to pass thru the infection but at the same time i read that this bacteria can cause early labor and i dont want that, well i hope that somebody here will tell me if any of you guys had gone through something like this, because i had never any of this problems with my first pregnancy and im just like really scared something will happen to my matias....:( im so scared!!!zajaceks -

Peanut-It's not a problem. Either way, girl or boy, pregnancy and parenting are miracles. I feel blessed to have whatever God gives me. I am sure Desmond will get a little brother eventually, as we plan on having at least 4. They are such a joy. Having a child is the most amazing thing I could ever ask for.DulcianasMom -

Although I am happy either way, I'd love for my son to have a brother eventually. My husband has 1 sis and 2 bros but his dad is 1 boy with 4 sisters so I guess that wouldn't work in our situation. He had all sisters and had 3 boys before having a girl. I guess you get what you are given. We waited until day of o to have intercourse and it may be a girl. We'll see. Hopefully, if it is a girl, we will eventually get blessed with another boy. pygmalin -

Jennalovesbabies- no special way to concieve a boy..rule of thumb is boy sprems are fast out of the gate but wither a little faster..poor guys...girl sperms are slow out of the gate but arrive a bit stronger and take there time to enter the egg...so unfortunattly there is no 'natural' way of conciveing a specific gender. A good rule of thumb to is to look at the Fathers family...are there mostly girls or boys? Still not full proof. JennaLovesBabies -

Hi everyone. I am new to the site. I am using through my cell phone so I apologize if anything is out of wack on here. I am due March 21st but can not enter it through my cell phone. I was wondering, for those of you that have multiple boys, did you do anything specific to conceive them? Did you have sex during ovulation or any of the other so called methods? I have a 16 month old boy and expecting, what we think, is a girl. At my 19 week scan the tech said it 'looked like a girl' but she didn't seem sure at all. She also didn't show us any proof so I won't know for sure until the 3d. I look foward to getting to know you all.
