jenny- if it just needed one stitch, chances are that it will heal by itself. :) I would only worry if you needed a whole bunch and they ripped.

jenny, i would def call your ob and have them look at it. i had a tear with my daughter, they never stitched it though, TMI but i have a little bit of skin that hangs now its not that bad but i can tell

hi just wondering if anyone can help?? i had my little girl 2 weeks ago and i had a tear so had to have 1 stitch, the stitch had desolved but i dont think the area has healed, i think im still bleading from that area. dose anyone know what i should do? will it heal on its own? thanks x

hello ladies!! i havent been on here since my little girl was born three months ago..but was on everyday until she was. i got to 42 weeks..i was induced at 41+13 and she was born by emergency section at 42 weeks! (i dont thik she was ready at all personally! and would wait a lot longer next time i think!) just want to say...whatever happens..however you have your babies...it is absolutely worth it. some of us have to have sections...and though its usually not the way we wish it to happen..it does!! i would have one everytime to have the beautiful awesome feeling Matilda gives to me!!! good luck to you all...and dont be afraid of whatever comes!! so long as they arrive safely..its perfect! oh and on the less soppy side of things...once they arrive and in amongst the hazy happiness comes the sleepless nights and stress of not knowing why they cry..you will soon be very grateful you went the whole 42 weeks!!!

Alexander Ka'ua was born 1/8/10 at 6:35pm. He weighed 10lbs 11oz and was 22inches long. Tried to post a birth story but it's not working right now. Congrats to all the new mommies! I'm excited, my toddler sized baby is breastfeeding like a pro which is awesome! He looks a lot like his brother only with black Hawiian hair, his brothers is more like mine (brown and baby fine). I'm so happy he's finally out, I was 10 late and he showed no sign of wanting to come out.
