Swelling - Last 2 days, my feet swell so much and by morning it had gone down. Again, this evening, I am sporting cankles. Is this normal? I wonder if it has to do with salt.

I hate my job! They moved me to 32 hours a week and I am taking 17 units nd its all crzy cuz Round Table is doing 10 dollar pizzas. I work nights cuz I have school during the day, and my hubby works 8 to 5 so when I get home hes asleep. I feel like I never see him and Im tired of woring till 1AM every weekend cuz of cheap pizzas. Sorry, just thought I'd vent a little. I wish you could just go on disability while pregnant!

I am so happy to be having a little girl this time, but i am getting tired of being pregnant. I am soooo uncomfortable1 I have been in pain for the whole 27 weeks! Everything that i have is normal but after having such an easy pregnancy with my son, this seems like it is going to just keep getting worse :( i don't like to complain but it is hard having a tough pregnacy with a 22 month old little boy. Oh well, not too much longer-- :)

afternoon ladies...so excited we have our d/a in a few hours. I'm supposed to do my glucose test today but unfortunately MIL had to go on a business trip and hubby is working so it'll be me and our 16 month old. i'm sure he won't want to sit there thru the appt and waiting for the bloodwork. so i guess i'll have to go back on thrusday when i'm off from school and hubby is off to keep DS. At our last apt my midwife said she might do a u/s to get an estimate on how big he's gotten since they are worried about me having another big baby. We've had 2 u/s so far and both times he wouldn't let us see his face. I think if i can see his face it'll make it more realistic and i can picture him coming home. anyways i'm also anxious because i have soooo many questions to ask...glad my midwife is so patient and caring i'm sure anyother dr would kick me out :)

I'm 27 weeks today! This is my second pregnancy and it is going by way too fast. With my son it felt like forever. Even though he's going to be 3 in a few days, it still feels like I just had him.Now it's a girl and I'm a little nervous because I'm so use to having a boy. So, other than that,I've been really depressed. I know I have hormones going crazy but I've hardly been happy. The worst part for me is that my dog just died Sat. It was unexpected and I've had her for 13 years. I know people think just a dog...but I had her since I was 14 yrs old. It's hard when you come home and she's always there to not being here anymore.Sorry. I guess I just needed to express myself a little.

AFwife - my DH did his practice deployment april - may 2006, was home for about a week at end of May then was deployed June - Dec 2006. Our DD was born 7/29/06. Its hard, very hard but you just take it one day at a time and it really helps if you have family and friends to help, I stayed w/ my parents. I went onto photobucket.com and constently (sp?) posted pics of our DD, almost daily and I emailed him multiple times a day with baby updates. We were stationed in FL, but my parents are in NY, so he flew to NY and I told him it was to late and cold to take baby to airport, I took her anyways to surprise him. They settled in the daddy and daddy's girl roles pretty quickly (didn't take long for her to get him around her little pinky). I look forward to this one where I can hand her over and say, you take her, I'm getting a nap!! cause I was on my own with my DD, everyone worked and was hardly around.

We've had so much snow; I haven't had time to write in a while. Last week we got 5 inches, then 27 inches and now we're expected to get 20 more today. Man! Anywho... I wanted to comment about the leaking breasts. Mine have been leaking for weeks - I mean, I believe they started around week 20. It is so weird! I get really, really out of breath too; everything seems more difficult. I NEVER sleep. uggg. Getting a little irritated. I am trying to stay positive!

1sttime - I assume you mean how can you tell the leg from the arm from the hand from the booty. This is my 2nd and sometimes you can have a good guess by how it feels (ex, if you feel 2 kicks or pushes side by side, prob the feet, or a big hard spot will prob be head or booty) but its very very hard to tell. I make it into a game, trying to figure out what body part that was. It gets easier at the end when their bigger and don't flip so much, so if its in one spot, you know what part of baby is in that area. Its really all a guessing game.

danielle - I'm the opposite, I used to love spicy foods, but don't get into them as much since I've been preg, I just lost the taste. I'll still have my hot sauce on stuff but other spicy foods, not so much. And I haven't used the doppler in a long time, since I feel the baby moving more frequently.

Sooo - thanks to everyone who calmed me down about my leaky breasts lol i was so paranoid!!! Im finally posting belly pics up now so check them out!!! It was hilarious a couple nights ago I was at an atm and this lady from Mary Kay in a pink cadillac asked me to be a pregnancy model for them. Too funny, I feel like a whale!!! So is anyone else having crazy cravings for nachos and buffalo wings? Its so bad how I want spicy foods! Also, for those of you who have dopplers at home its so amazing listening to the heart beat now, its perfect you can hear everything the valves, etc.!!!

ljz, hang in there, you made it almost 2/3's thru of this deal, you can make it to the home stretch!! I get hard spots to but in a strange spot (all the way on the left side of uterus, just below belly button). Has to be her cause its not always there. I think she favors being up and down cause when I'm up, I feel her in top & lower belly, but if I lay down, I feel her on my sides, so its like she's always standing, or doing a headstand. I just can't wait to hold her hand and rub her little head, come on 13 weeks, I've been patient enough!! Funny thing is other times I have to remind myself I'm preg, I'll just forget for a min. Oh, and I can feel the uterus getting higher, its harder to bend over, I can feel it getting in my way, feels like pressing against a ball, but on the inside.

YAY, officially 27 weeks. Not sure if this is really the 3rd tri, it says it in this weeks article but when I plug in my DD, it says 3rd tri is 28 wks. Oh well, I'm saying I'm in the 3rd. Last night, I watched house and at the end, Cuddy was laying with her baby (looks like she's over 1 yrs old maybe) and the baby looked so sweet sleeping there, I almost cried, my DH started laughing at me. I just can't wait to have another baby to snuggle with. I still snuggle with my 3 yr old but I miss having a baby.

Ok I just woke up and I feel like **** I am so naseaus and having cramps. To be honest with you I don't know how long I can deal with this morning sickness for real. It just drains my energy and its so aggravating. I feel like anything I eat doesn't agree with me and the heartburn and indigestion are crazy. Ahhh its really hard 2 hold on

I don't think my son has turned either I get kicks in my hip bone and sometimes knee in my belly button its so funny. I have been getting hard bhs but not a lot still don't like em. It's going so fast!

Thanks so much girls - he is my 1st and I was like what is going on is this happening too soon? haha but thank you... kellymarie - I have the same problem with constant heartburn its terrible. The tums / liquid mylanta I was allowed to have werent helping at all. My doctor told me to get Zantac 75mg at the local pharmacy and to take one everymorning to prevent heartburn & since 24 weeks when I started taking it in the morning I havent had heartburn since (unless I forget to take it). Hope this helps!

Last night I looked down at my shirt and there was a little wet spot, I leaked. I was happy about it cause it makes it a little more real. Not a bad thing, just a preparatory thing. Kelly - thats all normal in preg. I have weekly emails from babycenter or something like that and it talks about all that stuff.

Hey Danielle, ive been leaking for about 2 weeks now and I think I started around the same time with my first pregnancy and she was 7 days late so I wouldnt say its a sign of a premature baby so I wouldnt worry. My heartburn is kicking in now and has been quite bad today feels like my chest and throat are on fire! Also feeling really congested but i think this is quite normal in pregnancy?

At our local grocery store they have ice that comes flavored already like orange, and lime.. Although it isnt as sweet as a popcicle I LOVE IT!!! Ice isnt a weird craving although I have to have LIME in all my drinks...water, juices...

Ok ladies.. have a question for you all. My nipples hurt so bad.. almost like I have sunburn on them. I have been keeping lotion on them, I have tried wearing my bra all the time and I have also tried going without my bra. Nothing is helping. mrsjd - I would ask the dr about it. My mother used to chomp on ice chips till she got some kind of med and no longer does that. On the other hand, it can be a preg craving. With my DD, it was italian ice, no idea how that started, never had it b4 that preg, or since I gave birth (even after 3 yrs, its a food I can't look at cause I ate it to much), but dammit, I needed my italian ice or someone was gonna pay!! LOL, I laugh now thinking about myself standing in the freezer section at walmart ready to kick someone in the whoo hoo cause they were out, then driving to the next town to check that walmart, at any hour of day or night (DH was deployed, no help there). My older bro was stocking shelves then, freezer section of all things, and I'd reem him out if they were out. Sometimes he was MIA if he knew they didn't have any.

mrsjdwilliams- I was nuts about ice last year when I was pregnant with DS! I absolutely loved it. It was towards the end and it had to be a certain kind. The crushed ice from dairy queen and the hospital that I gave birth at. I was obsessed! I noticed that my heartburn is getting really bad and I'm starting to want that ice again. I didn't read until this pregnancy that craving that could be bad. They had it listed with weird stuff like dirt, lol.

It could be a sign of that but its probably just a craving. I get so much hotter now that i will eat it too and i hate the way it feels in between my teeth. I would mention it to be on the safe side but i wouldn't stress about it.

important question---- so i was sitting here munching on ice. i just realized i'm constantly chewing on ice, which i used to never do. i've also become addicted to frozen hi-c...i put the juice box in the freezer then take it out before its all the way frozen and eat it like a slushie. anytime i drink water or anything else i always add ice but i used to never touch the ice just dump it out but now i have to eat it. i just realized isn't that a sign of low iron or something??? i can't remember it just hit me when i realized how weird it was that i love ice now. just thought i'd ask since i have a dr appt on tuesday and wondering if i need to address it at my appt.

Lol! I have never heard of an application process to get to a pediatrician! I did lots of research with our first and not one place ever mentioned one either! I am glad I don't have to go check them out all over again but have honestly never heard of that. I hope everyone gets one in time! Hope everyone is feeling well!
