Congrats to all the future mums of baby boys! =) It's funny to read all the posts about sex. It's either you want it and DH doesn't, or DH does and you don't! For me it's I could care less about it and DH begs for it. It was the same with my last pregnancy.

Jessegurl, I'm also going through the same thing and it sucks I know it does and I'm sorry you're feeling the same thing cause it seems like they just don't get it, dang them men-I'm pregnant with twins and very much unplannned and it feels awful now that my bf also does not want to be intimate at all. Kinda feels like I have the plague, he has tried to explain why we are not having sex but I still don't like not having sex one single bit... Hope it gets better for ya cause it has yet to get there for me...xxx

Oh! I almost forgot..I got my H1N1 shot today..I was a little unsure of it at first, but after talking with my doctor about it today he really reassured me..there is a seperate H1N1 shot that does not contain the live virus or the mercury preservatives that the regular H1N1 shot carries, and it is safe for the baby. I also just found out, there have been 7 deaths here in Sacramento County, and ALL of them were healthy pregnant women!!! SCARY!!! And the nice thing was, not only was the shot free for me, but I got to be rushed to the FRONT of the line (in front of about 700 peeps!!) and was in and out in 10 minutes!!! So, for those ladies that are still on the fence about the shot, just know that there is a different shot for us prego ladies, and the vaccine is not much different than what we already get. :)

commongoal: Yea, the babies eyes were WIDE open..it is crazy to see on the scans we got, as soon as I get my scanner up again I will post them up. :) That is what I had thought too, but both the doctor and the tech said they were wide open..so..I dunno!! LOL! Juniwoo: thanks for the congrats! We are super excited!! Part of us wanted to wait until it was born, but we couldn't help ourselves!! Maybe on the next baby we will wait.. :)

My bf does not want any whatsoever and I have to beg for it practically and I feel so frustrated i want to cry. My bf says he is too occupied with everything going on and that is the last thing on his mind. Just wish there was something I could do :(

Helllllllllllllo Ladies!!!!! The results are in..and I have a very very gifted baby BOY brewing in my belly!!!! LOL!! We are soooo excited!!!! He had his eyes wide open and was totally playing peek-a-boo with the US tech...lol..she had the hardest time getting him to sit still long enough to get some of the scans..but that was just longer for me to enjoy seeing the lil munchikin on the screen!!!! She said he is going to be a gorgeous young man..and look nothing like me..ha! We shall see! And now the hard part...for me and my fiance to figure out a name..ay yi yi..we cannot agree for anything..so we shall see!!! GO BLUE TEAM GO!!! :)

travesia-I don't feel many kicks either and my first was a real mover and shaker! she went on to crawl at 7 months and walk at almost 10 months! this baby is very still and it worries me also. I have my anatomy scan tomorrow the second and last scan of my pregnancy so I'm going to make the most of it and get the sonnographer to check everything and talk me through it real slow. hope all your tests come back with good results.

ama-llama I know exactly what you mean, I went to a wedding last weekend and lasted till 10-30pm as the conversation had started to dry up due to the amount of alcohol being consumed usually I would have been up till the wee hrs (my hubby didn't get until just before sunrise!)but as the music got louder and my friends got more and more hard to follow I thought best call it a night, you are not boring AT ALL! and this person saying you are boring is MORE than rude but I won't go there.lol. You are growing a new life and this takes alot of time and energy and emotion. I would have torn strips off him, this is my emotional break down not crying.lol. Take heart that the next morning he would have felt like a bus had hit him and you would have been fresh and feeling fantastic!

I haven't had much kicks...I mean they are far in between...the baby is healthy and great heartbeat as of last tuesday...my 1st son was a monster in my belly..he was beating me up by thanksgiving...lol...I get so worried...The doctor had to do another papsmear because there was some bacteria in my first one..she said my PH balance is off??? never had anything show up in any of my papsmears...so anyways they didn't want to treat it before my 14wks so they rechecked me again last week...so I'm waiting to see if it comes back the same then I have to take antibiotics...If its not one thing its another...I'm wondering if thats why I feel alot of discomfornt in my uterus...but I also pee wayyy to much! i feel like the baby belly looks different than my first pregnancy..and also my placenta is sittin up front and could be why I don't feel the baby kicks as much...oye.

I was at a wedding reception last night , trying to enjoy myself while everyone is getting drunk or tipsy around me and some guy called me 'boring'. I ran to the bathroom crying. God I feel so vulnerable when Im pregnant. Was the same way with my Sons pregnancy. Although it was extremely rude what he said I take every little thing to heart and am just so sensitive. I dont enjoy this part of it.

missbebb, yes my baby girl is due on my son's 2nd birthday (April 18). We tried for several years to get pregnant with our son and to our big surprise we got pregnant with our daughter as soon as we 'considered' number 2. So..we weren't planning it that close. juniwoo-It is nice to hear that I'm not the only one experiencing the 'electrical shocks'. Last night I woke up and caught myself screaming because it came on so suddenly.

Saralou, my placenta is also the same but we're expecting twins so the other placenta is located on the back of the uterous. I usually feel kicks off to the side or down by my hips. I love the lil feelings when I get to feel them, but I never know which baby they are coming from or if they are kicks or punches cause the babies move around so much. But I still love it so much...

Hi all! I'm 19 weeks along with baby #2-- a girl (my son is 19 months old). I haven't posted yet during this pregnancy but I enjoy reading this forum a great deal. Starting 2 nights ago I began experiencing sudden sharp 'electrical' feeling pokes above my belly button (but under my ribs). This has happened about 4 times and it comes and goes without warning. The first time I thought my husband poked me hard with his finger (he didn't). The last couple of times were on the opposite side of my abdominal area and it felt like an area more the size of a ball. Those times it felt more like I got a mild electrical shock to the area. I just had my ultrasound last week and everything was fine. The baby was really low (right on my bladder) so I think the pokes were too high to be her. Has anyone else experienced anything similar? I didn't my last pregnancy.

My last pregnancy when I followed this site there were lots of ladies that didnt find out the sex until birth. Towards the end I got so excited to find out what they were having , and I was especially interested to hear how their labor was and if they had a boy or girl. It really is fun and exciting either way!

Hello week 19!! :) Saskia - hurrah, someone else NOT finding out the sex of their baby, I am not alone! Excitedmomma2b - have a simialr situation in that we're not having much at the moment and hubby seems uninterested but I don't think its that he's gone off me, he's been working extra shifts and stuff, but it serves to make me feel a lot less wanted and desired. I haven't weighed myself as I'm too scared to, but I know I've put on a fair bit and its easy to think that's the reason. But my hubby explained to me a few weeks ago that he sees me as delicate and doesnt want to hurt me or the baby so in a way its kind of like he's being protective?? I just decided to let him deal with it all his way, when he gets frustrated he'll come running back lol!!
