it might be scary but probably means nothing if it happened after sex. I had this as well and it was due to sensitive vaginal walls as I had some yeast infection going on that is prety common in early pregnancy. If the bleeding doen`st get worse it should be all good. Good luck - I was going through the same thing and the baby is OK, 14 weeks now.

I had some bleeding in 2 weeks ago, so in my second trimester and the doctor said it was normal, everything was okay and to just not have sex for the rest of my pregnancy.

You should refraim from sex until you 14th week, let that baby get completely attached! The baby is more important right now than sex, I am now going on 16 weeks I bled every time we had sex, finally ended up in the ER for heavy bleeding after sex, now we cannot have sex at all, it has beed 4 weeks since we had sex, my doctor says it won`t be any time soon neither.

I had an ultrasound at 8 weeks due to bleeding. The first thing I was asked by the tech and my dr. is if I had recently had intercourse. I hadn`t but they explained that some light bleeding afterward is considered normal.

That happened to me with my first and now with my second I have barely let my husband touch me. With my son I bleed every month except for 2 of them. And mine was not spotting either. I had such severe bleeding after relations once that I thought I was losing the baby and spent the evening in the ER. My Dr. advised me against it and I agreed.

i was told in the 1st trimester its possible to spot-but i bled quite a bit at one point as well and my dr did an ultrasound and it was a blood clot that was pretty much passing thru-but it didnt affect the baby....
