Hey! I`m not a mother yet but my niece does that ALL the time!!! She is only a year and a few months old and loves when the shower is on. She scoots her little butt up to the faucet head and drinks it and then turns and laughs. She is such a silly goose! I think its a cute picture of your son and there is nothing to worry about!

Nothing to worry about...My 2 yearold daughter has been doing that for a long time. It`s annoying but they will grow out if it. Its just fun for them. She also loves to eat the bubbles lol...

Hey! This is weird, I read your poll question earlier and didn`t respond (because my little guy doesn`t do this) but just a few minutes ago, I received one of my e-mails from babycenter.com and one of the topics in an article was, `Is it normal that my baby drinks bath water?`!!! Its totally normal for kids to do this. I wouldn`t worry about it. Kids soap is non-toxic so as long as that is what you are using for his baths its fine.

I wouldn`t worry, my 19 month old daughter does the same thing. My hubby was actually grossed out that she was on her hands and knees slurping the water in the bottom of the shower...lol! I think it is so much better than the toilet water that I catch her drinking sometimes...yuck! I think they see water and assume that it is there for them to drink and they can drink it in such a fun and different way! I would not worry about dehydration or anything else unless he is constantly thirsty, then you may want to get his blood sugar level checked. Otherwise, try not to worry! God Bless!

my son drinks the bath water and eats bubbles... One day he picked up the soap and put it in his mouth LOL that was funny ... should have seen his face ICK!! Now the soap is outta the way :).... i don`t worry about it. My son is 11 months

My son does exactly the same thing. I have learned not to worry about it. I would recommend you do the same and just enjoy your cute son.

lol i used to do this too as a kid. i ate the bubbles too!! i turned out just fine.
