I was gushing blood from that end. I was diagnosed with crohns disease and spent a week in the hospital, my iron level was so low from the blood loss I required 3 transfusions. NOT something to mess around with if its a significant amount. WHen I say I was gushing I mean I had a gurgling in my stomach and I thought I was going to have the craps but when I ended up going to the bathroom it was a flooding of straight up blood.

not pregnant and dont and never have had hemorrhoids...i am only dx`ing myself but i think it could be my ulcer...but weird cuz ive been on a super healthy diet for the last month and not stressing or anything...

Wow..you should really see the doctor!! It`s never happened to me. Definitely something you should get looked at!

Its very scary... and its bright and also small like clots, sorry this is very gross and uncomfortable to even talk about =(

Happened to me when I was about 20. I freaked out when I wiped my back-side and saw quite a lot of blood. I called my college medical service and they asked what color the blood was. Since mine was red, they gave me an appointment for a couple weeks later. It`s been awhile, but I remember the nurse saying that darker color blood like old black blood in bowl movements was the most worrisome, but bright red blood was usually from an external injury or hemeroids. The bleeding subsided over the next couple of weeks. TMI - The doctor just felt around briefly with a gloved finger, said she didn`t feel anything, and told me not to worry but to come back if the bleeding happened again or if I noticed dark blood in my stool. I had a similar bleeding episodes when pregnant with my son, but it was accompanied by discomfort that I assume was a hemeroid. It got better in a few days. I brought it up to my doctor, who didn`t seem concerned. Hope your bleeding stops soon & your Dr. appointment goes well.

Never happened to me, and you were right ;) My only advice is go get checked out. Wish I could help more.

so i have been on birth control for about a year, and its the seasonique and my dr`s gave me the LOseasonique last time and ive been on it for about 4+ months and i have been either bleeding or spotting almost the whole time, just thinking my body isnt getting use to the change in dosages... but today i went to the restroom to pee and i was bleeding (which has become a norm to me) and when i wiped i knew it wasnt from my vagina, i am having anal bleeding!!! i know i have an ulcer and they say that can happen, im almost 25 and have had it since i was 11, this has NEVER happened to me...and its allllot!!...i dont get medical insurance until after the 1st of this year... idk, just want to see if this has ever happened to you??
