Everyone carries differently

~JESSICA~ (487.7 days ago)
I`m having a boy & everyone says I`m high (like a girl)... I think it`s a myth b/c everyones body type is different

brandee (487.8 days ago)
I had a girl for my 1st baby and this time it`s a boy and there is NO difference in the way I carried.

The myth, Pregnant women who carry low = boy, or pregnancy acne = girl. How a woman carries depends on her body type and whether she has been pregnant before, but does not reflect gender. Pregnancy acne is unrelated to gender. Explanation: Women tend to carry lower or higher depending on their body type. Taller, thinner women appear to carry higher. Shorter and fuller women appear to carry lower. Neither has any correlation to gender. Also, in a second pregnancy, since abdominal muscles may be looser, the pregnancy may appear to be lower. Pregnancy acne has nothing to do with gender; it is a result of natural hormonal changes.

I have had 3 boys and 3 girls Iam on my 4th girl my boys felt like they were going to fall out at any time.Ithought it was because I had so many that they felt lower but then got pregnant with a girl and she is up really high.

MorganM (488 days ago)
I`ve always been told that boys carry RIGHT in front & higher up. Girls carry ALL OVER & lower.

MorganM (488 days ago)
I meant boys in front & low; girls all over & high. I read my comment after it posted & it was half backwards!!!

Melissa V (488.1 days ago)
Agree that the lore is boy low, girl high... but I am carrying a girl low and out front... and there is no mistake on gender. I had amnio confirmation.

Jess G (488.1 days ago)
The myth is boys are low and out front and girls are high and all around. But that`s just what it is, a myth. Like Annie said, it`s body type. I carried LOW and allll out front...and people SWORE b/c of how I was carrying that it was a boy, even after a u/s saying GIRL...they still swore it. But out she came a GIRL.

Annie85 (488.1 days ago)
it has nothing to do with the sex of the baby, your body type determines whether you carry high or low when your pregnant

bellajenna (488.1 days ago)
it dosent matter its just a myth. but i heard its boys low girls high
