I think I do sleep halfway on my stomach anyway, wrapped around a body pillow- the baby just ends up in the other half of my stomach, I watch him move back if I change positions! My doc said that if you are comfortable, the baby should be ok- women back in the day didn`t have all this information on how to/how not to sleep, and they still managed to have healthy babies. Basically, if it`s comfortable, it`s probably ok.

Im a tummy sleeper and i slept on my stomach until i couldnt anymore with the big bump for both of my pregnancies. Nothing was wrong with either of my sons.. I too asked my dr and she said it was fine to do so so long as it was comfortable for you. I wasnt able to sleep on my stomach for a few months and now that i have had my son its so great to sleep on my stomach again! Happy pregnancies!

When you get farther along you won`t be ABLE to sleep on your stomach... ONE you will be too big, TWO it hurts like hell, but your baby won`t feel it ;)

It`s fine...I use to think I was hurting my baby too cause he wouldn`t move for awhile after I woke up on my stomach...But my doctor say it`s fine. There is enough to protect your baby...people just tell you not to sleep on your belly when you`re pregnant cause it is suppose to be uncomfortable to you.

My 15 month old LOVES going to the park and seeing kids his own age. Any comments welcome.
