If she seems ready I say go for it, I skipped the whole toddler bed with my 2nd,they grow out of it so fast I actually just got a daybed for her and put the baby rail against the open side,the way they look it`s almost the same as having the half crib but bigger.

Kids let you know when they are ready. And it sounds like she is. The longer you hold her back the more problems you will have when it`s time to make that move. And to make your husband alittle more comfortable with it, lay some pillows down next to the toddler bed. So that way if she falls she wont get hurt. I think it`s time!! Good luck to you!

I think you should try the bed and to be hinest maybe just a quick move. She may cry to begin with but she`ll get over it - or she`ll just be fine staright off. You can make a big thing of the `big girls bed` let her choose a new cover etc I`m sure it`ll be fine

maybe you could take her too the mall and just happen to stop by the cool `big girl bed` section maybe you could show her the pretty beds & see if she is interested =] [dont have any kids just trying to help]

IM a Nanny, and i have one on the way... But Jane is 28 months and she is still in a crib.. She likes to sleep with in 4 walls i guess... but slowly she talks bout a big girl bad...She is starting to take her naps on a twin bed... you could try the same if you have other children and you used there bed...But shes good sleeping on the twin for naps!

For our son , moving to a bed was pretty traumatic. We thought for sure he was ready. He is two and a pretty big fellow, the crib seemed so small. But once we moved him it took months for him to adjust. We are still struggling with it. As you know, every child is different so I think it will be a matter of testing the waters with your own toddler and see how she feels about. Just don`t break down the crib too soon just in case she isn`t quite ready to make a change.

Those toddler beds are so low to the ground that even if they roll, they`ll be OK. Sounds like she`s More than ready. Good Luck

both my boys were in toddler beds by 18 months and twin beds by 2 1/2.

not tht i have any children yet so i dont know...but mi niece is just turned 2 and shes been in a bed for about 6 months...and shes good with it! but i guess it just depends
