When we moved I went out on maternity leave. I had planned that I wouldnt return because we moved to far from my work. I was allowed to pay cobra for the time frame it was offered and once it ran out I gave my resignation in writing. I spoke in depth to HR prior to leaving to see what I`d have to pay ~ I paid it plus got my disability benfit until the time frame was up to resign. Hope that helps :)
