MsBeenee (377.5 days ago)You can do both but the tough thing is, is that you`ll find (in my opinion) that formula is easier and more reassuring cause you can see exactly how much they are getting so you could start doing less and less breast milk and more formula and eventually you`ve just weined your baby completely! So be careful. Nursing was REALLY hard for me cause my baby was such a stinker!
Sarah M (378.1 days ago)I want my hubby to be able to feed the baby from early on so I`m going to express. I am going back to work when the baby is 6months and my husband is going to stay at home. I will express then too but may introduce formular at about 5months or so so that it can be used if necessary, it can be brought in earlier- just see what is right for you and the baby! I will make sure that the baby has started to have some solids introduced before I go back to work too.
buzzingb (378.3 days ago)You can do both but breast is realy best... even if breastfeeding is a problem try bottlefeeding breastmilk. Mixing breast and bottle is normaly done at around 6months when mothers want to stop breast feeding and weening the baby onto the bottle. I wouldnt personally mix both if the baby is newborn and in the first couple of months. But hey every mothers different!
