marshalynn (333 days ago)If you`re lighted-headed upon standing from lying down, be sure that you are taking your time in getting up. In addition, remember to lie on your left side. This shifts baby and his weight away from the main artery that runs down the centre of your body. Also, there is a larger amount of your blood naturally trying to remain in your pelvic region supplying oxygen and nutrients to the baby. So, get up more slowly. Be sure to try and keep your blood sugar regular by eating many small meals. If it drops off, you will get light-headed and dizzy from that, too.
SarahJane (333.1 days ago)I did and I still do sometimes (I`m 32 weeks along). My midwife said there are a lot of factors that contribute to light headedness. More blood flow to the brain and body, compression on the brain due to blood flow and hormonal changes are all culprits.
