One of my friends had the ugliest baby ever, the child is 6 and still the ugliest kid ever. I feel bad for her she reminds me of one of the people off of the Lord of the Rings. My husband says she has the face of a primidial dwarf, but I am going to have to agree with summerisis and say bad genetics...

Lots of ugly babies grow up to be really pretty! I have seen newborns who have not been cute and lots of babies and young children that have not been blessed with their looks but I do think thats you will always think that your own is gorgeous!

I have worked in child care for 10 years. Most babies are cute, but oh boy! I have seen a few ugly ones!! One of them I still see and he`s grown into a really cute little boy. I guess it does depend alot on genetics - ugly people pass on their genes...

Bad genetics is bad genetics. I`ve noticed that ugly babies are generally accompanied by ugly parents. :D

ok so MOST babies are cute. but come on, everyone has to admit that there are some that are.... oh wow. i can remember two specifically. one was my co-workers, lol, and another was a kid i REFUSED to babysit because i swear he looked like a demon alien. so sue me. lol. (he`s really adorible now, btw. he`s like 2) :)

Most babies resemble little old people as infants, IMO, but in a few weeks most are very adorable!

I used to babysit a little boy that had a long, pointed nose; not a cute button nose, and his eyes were really close together. I`ve seen some babies that look like an old man, but they`re still cute. This boy was very disturbing to look at.
