I have a friend who has the same issue right now - she said it is very common and she isn`t worried at all. My baby has a spot on the heart that is also very common. Our technology is just so good now that we almost have too much information to make us worry needlessly!

my baby also has a cyston his brain, i was upset for weeks the doctor told me that it should disappear between 26 to 28 weeks, my next ultrasound is not until nov 7th to see if it is gone. good luck to you. it is very common i was told, also i had to go to maternal fetal medicine and they told me the reason the cyst is there is the baby is producing alot of fluid in the brain which is a good thing since we all have fluid in our brains.

I had an u/s today too, and he said that there is a small cyst on the side of the brain. He also told me not to worry that it will probably dissolve on its own. I know how you feel, I`m still worried.

With my son, they said a cyst on the brain, when I went for the high resolution sonogram they said nothing was there and that the u/s technician must have created a shadow. Best of luck to you!

My sisters baby had a cyst on his brain at the 17 week u/s and by her 28 week u/s it was gone. He was born Oct. 5th healthy as can be. There`s a picture on my page.

my daughter had a large cyst on her kidney and the dr said that the cysts usually resolve themselves by the time the babies are born, and if not then its a simple procedure to remove it. adia`s cyst had in fact resolved itself, i her its very common, good luck to you, try not to worry oo much.

I`m not 100% positive, but I`m pretty sure my cousin`s baby had that. They gave her a couple extra u/s to access it, and whenever her baby was born everything ended up being ok with her.
