i guess it just depends. my mom had me 9lbs 4oz, my middle brother 9lbs 8oz, my baby brother 9lbs 12oz and my sisters who are twins were over 10lbs together...so in her case it sounds like it! but i dont know

my first was 6 even my second was 7 even and my third was 6 lbs 6 oz.

its not true.. for my mom the weight of the babies was small, small, big, big, small, small.. yes she had 6.. as for me its true. my oldest 7lbs 11oz and for my second 10lbs 1oz so i pray its not true and i am not having a 20lb baby... lol

Hi! Mum had 3 kids: 1st weighed 7 lb 12oz at 38 wks; 2nd weighed 8 lb 9 oz at 39wks and the 3rd weighed 8 lb 1 oz at 40 wks. The 2nd baby was the largest. I think it just depends on the baby don`t worry: )

My first son was 9lbs 2oz., My Daughter weighed 7lbs. 14oz. and my second Daughter weighed 9lbs. 15oz. So I really DON`T think that they get bigger, it just depends on the baby!!!

My 1st was 7.9 at 41 weeks, my second was 6.11 at 37 weeks, my 3rd was 6.12 at 35 weeks. Even though each baby I had was earlier than the previous one, if they had all gone to term they would have been bigger each time.........6.12 at 35 weeks is HUGE!

My Mom had three kids and each one was 8 ounces heavier than the previous one. She started at 7 pounds and her last was almost 9 pounds and one ounce.

On my mom`s second child she had a 12 1/2 and 24 inch baby. Talk about ouch. then her next was 8 lbs something. Talk about a relief. If this was true, she would have tore every which direction!!!!

I know people who have had smaller babies second time round. Try not to worry too much.
