At our playgroup there is a girl named savanaah, shes a cutie. I dont think she gets any nicknames. I dont think its to popular ive heard it but not every second kid is named it. I like that thats why i liked clayton(my son) and alisha(my girl)I dont like names that are to over used.

Savannah is a Spanish name that means Treeless Plains. I think it`s a pretty name. I assume the nickname would be Vanna...or Savi.

Make sure you do some research befor you name your daughter after a city. You may find it turns you off. Otherwise, it sounds very pretty.
