i am a caffiene drinking soft cheese eating woman!!!with my first three i was in new zealand and they are really in ya face about soft cheese and stuff but since ive been in aussie nobody has ever heard of it oh same with rottiserie chickens everyone here goes sick!!apparently fine

My doctor told me... Reality is... No one new any of this stuff 20 years ago, and the human race is way older then that. It could cause some complications, but.. just don`t over due it.

I see a lot of people on here `admit` to having tea...I didn`t know tea was bad!!! I drink it whenever I feel like it, I drink soda whenever I feel like it, I`ve eaten sushi, I don`t know what soft cheese is but I eat cream cheese (hope it`s not the same), and I drink a mocha from Starbucks about 3 times a week or so.

i had 2 smoked salmon sandwiches on sunday, and i`d do it again!! i didn`t really think anything of it, and i have tea sometimes.. (shame on me) but i did quit smoking in april!!

i think a lot of people are too self righteous to admit they broke a couple of rules and if u can say that u honestly didnt break any of them more power to you, like practically any human being will always do i have broken rules caffeine, u know minor things.

ive eaten soft cheese but apparently over here its alright to eat...but other than that i quit everything as soon as i found out. I think all ive had is one cup of coffee and a sip of coke every now and then.

I had a rough time when I was pregnant with my first child and the dr told me that a way to reduce the risk of premature labor was a 1/2 glass of red wine once a week. My big feeling on pregnancy is if you crave it...have it just in super small amounts. There must be something lacking in your body to make you want something in the first place. I personally have quit smoking (thanks to Chantix), quit drinking except for the occasional bellini (maybe 1 every 14 days), quit the sushi except for the california roll but that isn`t really sushi anyway. I switched to Root Beer from regular pop because it and cream soda are caffiene free. I do still use my splenda religiously but I have cut so much out already I don`t feel guilty. Don`t feel overwhelmed to cut things out. This just adds stress and guess what...you have to cut that too! Good Luck!

I`ve eaten sushi a couple of times and occassionally I`ll have a cup of coffee or tea. I`ve been drinking caffeine free diet coke though. I also got drunk in my first trimester before I knew I was pregnant.

I havnt had a drink of alcohol since ive known i was pregnant. And had sushi. My sins are Diet coke. Caffiene and artificial sweetener.. tho i have cut down alot!!!

20 years ago it was ok to eat everything and drink so why has it all chngd now hey? we all turnd out ok and our mothers sure wasnt told not to `not eat` certain things!!!1

I smoked until week 18 when I found an impossibly simple way to stop. If anyone wants to know how I did it, let me know.

I had a few drinks in my 1st trimester before I knew I was preggo. I`m also a smoker and am finding it hard to quit. I`ve slipped up but i`m working on it. I also don`t eat the way I am `suppose` to but I don`t stress myself out about it because it causes more harm. Good Luck...if you aren`t following all the `rules` don`t worry, it doesn`t make you a bad mom...it makes you human. None of us are perfect!

i have a glass of wine every so often or a sangria swirl-but i dont overdue it and i waited til i was done w/ my 1st trimester!!
