Jeanette`s poll Show results | Hide results

Pregnancy-poll poll A waitress got an attitude with me when I ordered a cup of green tea. Do you think I should have smacked her?
(Pregnancy poll by Jeanette, 350 days ago)
No, she was just trying to help.
Yes, smack her out of her self-ritious indignation.
Call the manager, and have him smack her.

damn right girl!!!!i drink coffee tea and coke and have always, this is number five and my kids are just fine.in the beginning of pregnancy i cant stomach coffee i just started about 1 or 2 months ago enjoying it again so i think maybe our bodies let us know..

Brittany23 (350.2 days ago)
yo dude, she`s a bitch...

zenzabar (350.4 days ago)
That is rude but just be sure to drink green tea in moderation. Studies have shown that it affects the body`s folic acid levels. Maybe she was tring to be helpful, I guess there would have been a nicer way of stating her concern though.

i got nothing to say except ignorance is bliss, i drink my caffeinated pepsi about 2-3 times a week, i probably wouldve ended up cursing her out atleast but thats just me

I`m not sure why some people feel that they have the right to tell a pregnant woman ANYTHING or give them attitude at all. These people are obviously ignorant and uninformed about what is and what isn`t ok when you are pregnant. I got the same thing when I was working, all of my well intentioned co-workers loved to tell me what NOT to drink or eat. I usually said something like, `uh, yeah well when you`re pregnant you can make that decision for yourself.` They usually got the point. I`d brush it off because it`s not likely to be the last time someone gives you a dirty look. We all have to make the best decisions for ourselves! ;)

I would have body slammed her. And followed it up with a head-butt.

AliciaH (350.4 days ago)
Yeah, I`m not sure what the reason for the attitude was. Green tea is just fine. I wouldn`t have slapped her...but I definately would have WANTED to!! I go in to Starbucks about 3 times a week and buy myself a grande mocha with whip and I always get at least one look from somebody. I walk into work with it and people always say `You know the caffeine isn`t good for the baby`. Yes, I do know that BUT they say one cup of coffee a day is fine and I only do it about 3 days a week so they can all kiss my fat butt!

I don`t get it. What was the harrasement for? Green Tea isn`t bad during pregnancy.

Jeanette (350.4 days ago)
The worst part was that I was in a japaneese restaurent and she WAS japaneese!

ladybugmom (350.4 days ago)
I wouldnt embarrass myself by smacking her, but I would make a complaint and leave a PENNY on the table! She`ll get the point! some people cannot help but be idiots!

  1. Ok - why are women so terrified of forceps? I thought it was something fast and simple to get the baby out and didnt cause any excess pain. But the more Im reading up on a lot of these blogs on here I am seeing that a lot of you women had a really bad experience with forceps and refuse to use them again. Can someone explain the process of using forceps and your experience if you have one? Also what about the suctioning? Thank you!
