Mrs.Marcucci (343.9 days ago)i get a lot of charlie-horse (if that is how you say it) i asked my doctor because i would get it like every night and think its a dream and wake up really sore, she said it was a lack of calcium which i didnt understand because i was drinking not even 1/2 a gallon of milk every two weeks and now i am drinking 2 gallons every two weeks she put me on calcium pills twice a day.
jessica-hedden (346.9 days ago)One of my pregnancy books says to make sure your prenatal vitamin has magnesium in it and to put your feet up when you get a chance to during the day. Hope that helps
Jeanette (347.8 days ago)Thanks, fellow preggos.
phoenix716 (347.9 days ago)It`s just one of those pregnancy things. I eat bananas, drink water like crazy, and wear comfy shoes, but I still get them and I got them last time I was pregnant, too. All of those things I mentioned, though, along with not being on your feet for extended periods of time, should help at least a little.
BEXi (348.5 days ago)I honestly think it`s just a pregnancy thing.. I get them when I wake in the middle of the night, or in the mornings when I go to stretch my legs out (thats the first thing I do when I wake, out of habit). So now when I go to stretch my legs, i`ll do it slowly, and then immediately curl my legs up under me.. It seems to help.. When I do get them, I just massage the spot in hard circular motions and it seems to kink out the `pulled muscle`. It`s a terrible feeling!!
aliciah (348.5 days ago)I get those all the time! And I eat bananas like crazy. My doctor told me it`s the shoes I`m wearing plus having the baby weight on top of it. I wear heels to work. So when I switched to flat shoes, I got SIDE calf cramps, and OH they hurt worse! You need shoes with lots of support.
