I had a female doctor with my first baby and she was always very caring and gentle. I had a male doctor for part of my second pregnancy and never really liked him much. I decided to switch back to the same doctor that delivered my first baby and I`m really glad I did.

I think it was the other way around for me. The women I have seen during my pregnancy have been much more caring and nice to me. I saw a male for one of my appointments and it seemed like he just wanted to hurry up and be finished. He didn`t even really answer any of the questions I had.

ive only ever had females but with these comments Im thinknig of changing to a male this time, My women Dr are b`s now that i thinkk abut it.

I have had both and i think males are more gentle. I don`t know what it with female doctors being so rough and uncaring. I told my doc female doc i was stressed at work and she bascially shrugged me off. I think females are like well i did it, it wasn`t that bad. DEAL! I dk but i would much perfer a male.

I prefer male.. but I`ve never had a female doc. I just assume that men would be more gentle :)

I`ve only ever had female, not by choice but per chance...
