Why bother? Your only prego for 9 months, just stay away!

I agree with all you ladies! I wouldn`t take the risk of drinking while pregnant.

I personally wouldn`t drink during pregnancy. I don`t even think just having one glass is okay.

I hope your not eating trans fatty french fries and potato chips or driking soda and latte`s..that stuff doesnt go in bottles either.. lol......I had some wine spritzers on a couple occasions while prego with my 2nd, I treated myself on thanksgiving and christmas by having one with everyone.....I checked with my Dr first, and was pretty informed on the subject, not just off reading whats on the internet...While indeed it has effects on the baby, most cases of fetal alcohol syndrom and other bad complications come with habitual drinking, or drinking more than a glass, or more than a glass several times while pregnant, and I would never say have one to try and get a buzz or become tipsy, thats not okay, I had a couple because of my love for wine...Its a sticky debate and some Drs are okay with it...some not...ive chose not to have any with this one... so far, but I do not regret or feel bad by having a couple with my 2nd...hes great, healthy and perfect to me...having one drink is not going to stop development or impair him...on that note, No I do not think its okay to be an avid drinker while pregnant..your baby needs to be well taken care of...he/she has no choice on what is given to them and we need to make sure we do the best and are able to make appropriate decisions...

I personally think a person should stop drinking after they find out they are pregnant. The way I look at it is, if you wouldn`t put it in a bottle or feed it to your baby, then you shouldn`t drink or eat it while your pregnant.

I absolutly cannot believe that there are actually 20% that even think one drink is okay.....NEVER would I drink while prego.

I agree, heck no.

That`s not even something I would want to take a risk with! Babies are too precious and in such a development-critical stage!

  5. Miscarriage or Retained placenta or something else? I had my son just over 3 months ago by emerg c-sec, i had my post partum bleeding and it was fine, lasted a few weeks but much less than i thought it would. I started taking my pill and over lapped two packs so i am having a period now, and today about two days in i felt this thing slipping down inside me and felt like it was going to push the tampon out, i went to the bathroom, removed tampon and then a large thing came out of me, i heard it hit the bowl, and it wasnt a blood clot, and so i picked it up ,GROSS i know, and it was about 2-3 inches in diameter and length, fleshy pinky grey colour and textured surface but was hard to see as it was covered in blood. I then panicked and flushed it away. I dont think it was placenta as after 3 months surely it would smell really bad and it didnt. SORRY FOR TMI
