Annie85 (1549.4 days ago) for youre circulation, in order to reduce the risk of blood clots in the legs and also ditting for long periods of time can eventually lead to hemmorrhoids
gene-jeaniesbean (1549.4 days ago) I was told by my Doc for my 6 hour car trip to get out and walk around every 2 hours. It benefits you as well as the baby. I also had someone I drove with so some of the time I stretched out in the back for naps. It really helps plus you wont feel as stiff. Dont worry your bladder will make sure you stop hehe!
mirandasmom (1549.6 days ago) it can be hard on yor cervix to sit in a car for long periods of time
buybigfrombrandi (1549.6 days ago) Pregnant women are at risk for blood clots. By sitting in one position for a long period of time (even 2-3 hours) you put yourself at risk to develp blood clots. When severe enough, blood clots can be deadly.
kymber86 (1549.7 days ago) i have no clue why, different docors say differnt things. every hour seems excessive, lol. just get out and stretch/walk when YOU feel the need, and dont worry about it too much. 14 hour drive, i would be barfing all over the car, ahahah.
irene23 (1549.7 days ago) Im not sure. Usually they tell you that when you are further along. Maybe fear of blood clots. Are you a high risk pregnancy?
