leahs (319.9 days ago)I`m from Canada as well, I breastfed both my previous kids so I don`t know how pushy the dr`s/nurses etc are,but I know the public health nurses that check on you afterwards are pushy to the point of being rude.My sister was having a hard time getting the hang of it and because of their rude comments and insensitivity she completely gave up trying.
abrinasay (320 days ago)I`m from Canada, and the PUSH breastfeeding as much as possible, and yes it does get annoying. I don`t know if I am going to or not, but when I say I may not, they kinda make a face, like a let down face. No matter what you choose, don`t let someone elses opinion bring you down. People are going to have something to say everything you do.
elmera (320.2 days ago)hi, are you in the uk? i wondered because they arent supposed to push breastfeeding rather support you if thats what you decide to do. at the end of the day it is your baby and you should do what you want...dont take any stick! and besides no one should be made to feel guilty, im a breastfeeding counsellor and am all for it but im not a breastfeeding nazi and personally think a guilty upset mum is far far worse than formula milk.do what makes you happy and you will have a happy healthy baby... isnt that the most important thing anyway? if anyone says anything tell em to naff off lol
