mommiechels (310.8 days ago)I wouldnt worry as long as your eating healthy!!!
cyb3r0ptik (311.4 days ago)your doctor is a douche. people gain weight differently throughout their pregnancies. it`s not just `fat` gain, it`s also water retention, and baby. you`re fine :)
njstewy (311.6 days ago)Everybody gains weight differently. and it all depends on what kind of body you have. . I didn`t gain anything my first 12 weeks. .and yet I gain 7 pounds by my 16 week check up and I thought that was alot but aleast i was making up weight
Mona-Lisa (312.9 days ago)They say at 5 months you should gain about a pound a week give or take.
Brittany23 (312.9 days ago)wow what a prick!!! if anyone told me I was gaining too much I would probably punch them in the face. I`m 39 weeks, I gained like 10lbs a month for the first few months and I`ve gained a total of over 50lbs. You are fine, unless you`re living off kfc and eating lots of fast food crap you are fine! If you have a hearty appetite it`s because your body going through some crazy things, that takes energy! Just make sure you get your daily fruits and veggies!
monica9 (313.7 days ago)im 15 weeks and have gained 20 lbs. i think as long as you are healthy, its ok. you are small girl also to begin with judging by your picture.
noel (313.7 days ago)I gained 50 pounds in the first seven months. The doc never said anything to me about my weight. Now, at eight months (I`m up to a total gain of 52.5 pounds) the doc brings up my weight. I say you are gaining for the baby, as long as you are both healthy, that`s all that matters.
~JESSICA~ (313.9 days ago)no, sounds about right to me... at 20/27 weeks is when I gained the most almost 25lbs in 2 mos.... I`m now 37 weeks & gone from 140lbs to 176lbs..... everyone is different tho...
natalie75 (314.4 days ago)I agree with Butterblocksmom everyone is different and every pregnancy is different. With my first son I gained 85lbs. It was just harder to get off. With this one I haven`t gained any weight I am 21 weeks.
butterblocksmom (314.5 days ago)This is such a gray area. I put on 22 lbs over a period of 6 weeks. I`m 26/27 weeks now and have gained 30 lbs in total. My doctor is NOT concerned. I think JUST looking at weight gain is a misnomer...are you healthy, are you in danger of creating issues for yourself (Gest Diabetes), are you eating the RIGHT foods, etc etc. I believe every woman is so different, we can`t get caught up in feeling like crap because of what we`ve gained (even though I currently feel like a whale, I`m trying to be realistic)
