My1stbaby! (310 days ago)My child birth educator told us that Jasmine will cause labour to start.
butterblocksmom (310.3 days ago)Oh you poor thing! I have read the rasberry leaf tea is more for toning and not for inducing labour. Oregano and Basil have properties that may cause contractions, though it is not yet known how or in what quantities. Other essential oils called Labour oils are supposed to induce as well but I couldn`t find anything specific around it :(
KatSue (310.5 days ago)Hey supernatural! All the comments are right- red raspberry tea is a uterine toner- I drink it all throug my pregnancy. I did start taking blue cohosh in very small doses at 36 weeks with my first, but it is a known labor inducer. There is some controversy in the medical field over in the U.S. about it- it think it`s just a means of making more money in the medical world- scare women into thinking pitocin induction is the only safe way- any way, research it. Hope things go well!
supernatural5 (310.8 days ago)hey thanks all for your comments but hubby didnt find the raspberry leaf tea anyway, lol.
buzzingb (310.8 days ago)rasberry leaf tea doesnt induce labour...it just assists the contractions by strengthening the uterus. goodluck though
kimmarie (310.9 days ago)Hmm, not sure about that tea. Howeve, I think that I read somewhere that walking brings on labor....good luck!!
Annie85 (310.9 days ago)raspberry tea leaf is not to help u go into labor it helps tone your uterus kind of like a workout from the inside except u r not working out
