MAGGIEMAE (342.5 days ago)It`s sanitary. You can keep all the changing items there in one place to use. You can clean the pad constantly as well. I used mine all the time and plan to buy another one this time around!
RobinG (364.3 days ago)We have two! One on each floor and use it ALL the time. Cant imagine NOT having one. Plus if hubby said no I`d laugh since I am the SAHM and he works and I do most of the changing so if he said no I`d have to go against him. It is awesome for storing things etc. And it makes a great toy shelf later on, lol.
echo (364.3 days ago)everyone i know uses every where but a changing table. so we arent going to waist the money to get one. we are just going to change it where ever it needs to be changed!
daisybaby (364.3 days ago)i don`t have a changing table but I ended up setting up a folding table in my living room...stuck it in the corner put one of her big cute baby blankets on it...and filled a basket with diapers and I use it all the time...i don`t like putting her on the couch or floor to change her...

kimmarie (364.5 days ago)I bought my son a large dresser with a mirror and I had a changing pad to place on top. It served as a changing table for me. He enjoyed it as he could look at himself in the mirror when I changed him.
Cindy.Nov28 (364.6 days ago)I used mine all the time. You change a ton of diapers and its nice to have the baby at the right height and have everything handy. I bought mine second hand and it`s been worth it. Just as my son is outgrowing it, we`ll be using it for our new baby.
expectingmy2 (364.6 days ago)I love mine. I got one with my daughter and now pregs with my second! Mine is a dresser/changer combo so i love the storage! My daughter is now 2 and even though we are potty trainning i still use it! I use it as a dressing table as well it is easy on my back I am not always bendding over! So now we will be using it for this baby as well! I found it to be an investment worth while!
aundrea (364.6 days ago)Waist of money!!!
annie85 (364.6 days ago)never got one never neede it you can just buy a changing pad instead
bebe (364.6 days ago)I definitely used my changing table and it is about to get used again by my fourth baby! I bought one that converts to a dresser, so my three year-old has it as her dresser now until the baby arrives. It is convenient to have everything within reach. If we didn`t use the changing table, then it would be on my bed which I am not fond of. Trust me, many accidents occur as soon as the diaper is removed (something about being open to the air) so it is nice to have that happen in a space you don`t need to be concerned about. Also I recommend getting a changing table that is the the right height. Bending over to change diapers (as on a bed) is hard on the back and it is nice to have a spot not requiring bending. The changing pads that are curved on the sides are great and make sure you use the belt! Everyone is different, but my chaning table has gotten more than its share of use and will continue to as a dresser once it is done as a changing table for the fourth time!
summerisis (364.6 days ago)I think that it`s just another unneccesary consumer item and your money would best be served elsewhere. Personally, I would put the money in a savings account for Baby instead of a changing table. Imagine how strong your child`s savings account would be if you were that disciplined! That`s such a great gift, rather than a piece of furniture that will be obsolete within, say, 3 years...
lisa-82 (364.6 days ago)oh-but at the same time i woulda been ok if i didnt get one...
Jess G (364.6 days ago)I didn`t even get one. People told me the same thing. I`m glad I didn`t. I made the diapers and wipes assesible to the crib. So I either just changed her there or on the floor in the living room. I would have never used it, b/c I just change her wherever and also b/c you have to be so careful with them on the table...in a crib or on the floor, you can walk off and not worry about them falling.
lisa-82 (364.6 days ago)my best friend uses hers all the time b/c she`ll feed her baby in the living room and then go to change his diapers on the changing table-b/c like jjones said-everything is arms reach...i got one mainly for a storage type thing-so i can have the wipey warmer on the dresser next to it, the diapers right there, and a change of clothes as well....everything is right there....
jjones0461 (364.6 days ago)I am the same way as you. My friend said she NEVER used hers. I probally won`t at first, because the baby will be sleeping in the room with me. But when the baby gets bigger and starts to sleep in its room I think it will be nice to get the baby out of the crib and lay it on the changing table where everything is at arms reach.
