After an orgasm i`ve had a strong contraction. Really noticable one too. In fact I`ve never had a contraction like that before.

I think it has something to do with the sperm, not so much the contractions. I have sex with my partner every night & there is no signs of labour (thank god) for us.

I`m having sex about 3 times a week (orgasams included) and I haven`t had any contractions. I`m 2 days away from my EDD.

summerisis is correct. Prostaglandins will help soften your cervix and an orgasm causes `mini contractions`. lol, if nothing else, it`s more fun than castor oil!

It`s the orgasms all right! Semen contains prostaglandins, which can cause the cervix to `ripen`, or soften and prepare to open. Orgasms also produce oxytocin, the hormone that causes contractions.

My vote: having an orgasm is what`s healthy. I am hoping that`s a fact! it would be nice! :-)
