HOLLYBABY2 (306.4 days ago)i know if i`m asleep on my back the pain wakes me up. i can`t sleep on my back, it just hurts to bad. with my first i always tried to sleep right too. but theres no trying with this one. i can`t!!
summerisis (306.7 days ago)I use a full-body pillow to train me to sleep on my side but still wake up on my back. I just do my best and the pillow does help keep my spine aligned so it`s more comfortable.

nicolefeb08 (307.1 days ago)I`ve never heard anywhere it`s dangerous for baby. Only for the mother and I do it sometimes because my hips start hurting and I have to to get to sleep then I usually wake up because I start to get pressure. Then I go on my side. There`s too many things to worry about during pregnancy!
Annie85 (307.4 days ago)dont worry about it usually by the time u realize u r on your back it hasnt even been that long, most women wake up a few minutes after it happens, i know i do
butterblocksmom (307.4 days ago)See, I figure that women have been having babies for thousands of years so if it was so dangerous, our bodies would have a natural way of stopping it. Having said that, I awake from sleeping on my back and it is because I feel sick and nauseous. I also find if I lie on my back, baby starts kicking like mad, but then stops kicking...which really scares me. The heavier the uterus is, the more dangerous it can be...
Barbar (307.4 days ago)I voted - I still sleep on my back.
ANot by choice though, I fall asleep on my left side but always find I wake on my back!! I freak out worrying how long I have been on my back. Does anyone know how long is too long on your back? Like you I am worried.

butterfly034 (307.5 days ago)Once I found out I was pregnant and heard the whole `sleeping on your left side is better for the baby` I guess I subconsciously made sure I never slept on my back or tummy (which I always used to do). I always go to bed thinking to myself `sleep on your side, sleep on your side` and it seems to help =)
