lets-manga (357.5 days ago)The same thing happened to me... I am going by the u/s date, because it is my first pregnancy and I don`t want to drive myself crazy waiting - however I am going to prepare in advance just in case. At first I was really upset that they were pushing me back two weeks, but all in all - I know it will come out eventually!
carlsonlove757 (357.7 days ago)I have heard the same as summerisis. You would be 27 weeks since you LMP, but the baby is only 25 weeks. I am still sometimes a little confused on the whole date and how far along I am. I just go by what my doctor tells me.
nicolefeb08 (358.2 days ago)The earlier the u/s is the more accurate it is. At this point the fetus sizes vary more so I would go by the 27 weeks since it lmp.
summerisis (358.3 days ago)Also, I would prepare for 25 weeks (just in case) and tell people the date associated with 27 weeks so that if you don`t deliver on the first date -- you won`t lose your sanity as everyone calls and wants to know if you`ve had the baby yet. Also, if you choose the later date (emotionally) then you won`t start freaking out, yourself, after the first date passes. WITH THAT SAID, I assume that things will come together well before you`re ready to deliver -- you could always ask your doctor.
summerisis (358.3 days ago)My pregnancy book always talks about how far long I am versus the age of the baby. Maybe that`s what`s going on here. While you`re at 27 weeks, the baby is only 25... (since the first two weeks are essentially you shedding your lining and then ovulation.)
