cko1522 (1526.3 days ago) Gosh, there is a lot of judging going on with these comments. `Too scared to have a baby vaginally` `If its a choice, it totally should not be.` If one wants to have a c-section, then I say go for it. Just educate yourself on the risks and benefits. Its proven that a c-section is less stress on the baby per what I`ve read lately, and there could be a million reasons why someone might want one rather than a vaginal birth. Its a personal choice, what might not be right for you may be right for someone else.
nicolefeb08 (1527.1 days ago) Why would anyone want a c section for no reason? Too scared to have a baby vaginally?
jeanette (1527.3 days ago) I just read in a baby magazine that docs are doing pre-term elective c-sections to prevent stretch marks and pelvic relaxation. It`s obviously extreme, and I agree whith the magazine when they say it`s bad news.
mommymeg (1527.4 days ago) where I live you can freely ask for an elective C-section. Never thought of `pelvic relaxation` After 3 kids and to many mental pictures later, thats got me down....good way to put it..lol..
leahs (1527.4 days ago) I don`t know any dr`s in my area that allow elective c/sect. I always assumed it was for little starlets, but apparently alot of dr`s are allowing them.
cko1522 (1527.6 days ago) My doctor told me that I can demand a C-section for any reason. Says some folks do it to avoid pelvic relaxation later in life...or simply to avoid the stresses of labor.
