HOLLYBABY2 (1524.4 days ago) with my first daughter i didn`t feel her hiccup. but with this one i was around 15-20wks and i just sorta knew thats what was going on. my stomach would jump alittle. there was a couple of seconds between each one, just like you would if you had then. it was really cool cause i didn`t think it was actually poss.
oxxemmaxxo (1524.6 days ago) im 25 weeks and personally i dont think iv had hiccupps, im hoping i do soon though
Mrs.Marcucci (1524.6 days ago) i told my mother in law how i have heard that you can feel baby hiccuping and stuff and was thinking it was people being crazy because i didnt feel it...as soon as i complained about it that night i felt my little girl hiccup for the first time...it feels like a regular little baby hiccuping but inside of you mine soes it two and three times a day and it last for like 15 minutes you will know because you will feel it one after the other and wont stop...lol
JessH (1525.1 days ago) You prolly wont feel hiccup until the end of your 6th month, beginning of 7th - they get them from practicing breathing and swallowing. It almost feels like a heartbeat its got a rhythm and stays in one place and is the same strength each time. Whereas when the baby kicks you its usually sporadic, sometimes hard, sometimes soft, not precisely in the same place repetitively and consistent like hiccups. when i FIRST felt the baby move it felt like bubbles.
my-lil-miracle (1525.1 days ago) I`m 20 weeks, I first felt my baby at 16 weeks, it was really irregular at first, but now i can kind of predict when she`s gonna` move.Basically a couple minutes after i start to eat, and when I wake up. It doesn`t feel like butterflies to me. It just feels like something is lightly touching or pushing my insides. I love feeling my baby. I haven`t felt hiccups yet.
nicolefeb08 (1525.3 days ago) They feel like little tiny kicks, but the reason you can tell they`re hiccups is because their rythmic. I`m not sure how easy it is to feel them at 17 wks. I started really noticing around 25 wks.
monica9 (1525.3 days ago) im 17 weeks and i dont feel anything yet. I do sometimes get little knots right were baby is. like a knot is forming. my sister said thats what she felt with both of her kids. no fluttering, just knots
Daydays Mom (1525.3 days ago) Its hard to explain...im 22wks and i still dont know which movements are what from baby. and i dont know which hiccups are. But imo it feels at the beginning like muscle twitching...and then you will feel full blown thumps. as if someone is inside of you flicking you...not a painful flick but its there! you will know...i thought i knew when i was first feelin it...but now i defentally know! Its the best feelin...kinda gets agervating when you are tryin to slp and it wants to play...lol but its a great feeling!!!
jeanette (1525.3 days ago) put your finger in your mouth and tickle the inside of your cheek. That`s what it felt like to me when it first started (but, in my belly).
greekgoddess (1525.3 days ago) i really dint feel anything until i turned 20 weeks, like butterfly said it feel like twitches or something like that it dosent hurt when my baby kicks its an amazing feeling
butterfly034 (1525.3 days ago) HA! This is one of the questions that I had for so long until I knew myself. People kept asking my `dosen`t it feel like butterflys in your tummy!!?` I never had that feeling. When I first felt him moving I remember it feeling like twitches (like when your eye gets that twitch of leg muscle), and hiccups are re-accuring in the same spot for a longer period of time. I can count the seconds in between hiccups, moving is more sporadic. Hope that helps! Good luck during your pregancy!
