kater (236.3 days ago)doc told me at 19 weeks girl and thats what we got!! -i still spent the rest of the pregnancy doubting it though
Melissa08 (239.2 days ago)well with my first child I had my first ultrasound at 4 months and was told by one of the head docs that I was having a girl, so I had everything pink. Well I went back at 9 months and the doc checked to make sure the head was down and she was like what did they say you were having and I told her a girl and she said `well you better return what ya got because its a BOY` I had one week to exchange everything before he came. It sucked. That was the only time the docs were ever wrong
tracic (246.3 days ago)I work in a hospital and once heard a doctor say... If I see a girl, I will bet a case of soda. If I see a boy, I will be $100... so in other words girls are hard to see unless you get a good clear pic.
jeanette (249 days ago)The sex organs are formed and visible by this point. It`s just human error that could cause an incorrect judgement.
tto (249 days ago)I had a high risk pregnancy with my son. So we had a u/s every week for the entire second trimester and every two to three weeks in the third. We found out he was a boy at 14 weeks and he is a beautiful boy. I think it is easier to tell if they are smaller than when they are big and squished in there.
KatSue (249 days ago)With my first baby I had an ultrasound at 15 weeks to determine the sex, and it was right. This baby I had one at 14 weeks saying boy, and I havn`t given birth yet, but if it is a girl she sure would have to loose alot of junk to be a girl! 18 weeks really isn`t that early to tell gender- it`s just the best time for all the other measurments.
JenJen (249.3 days ago)I was told at 18 weeks that I was having a boy.....I had a little girl. This was my second pregnancy. My first I had the ultrasound at 28 weeks and it was right. My ultrasound tech had 30 years experience, said she would bet all her money that I was having a boy and I still had a girl. I should go back and tell her to pay up lol.
MJamison (249.5 days ago)well it could have been the person looking at the ultrasound.. when the tech did ours.. she did something that color popped up to show the cord and the blood flowing through it.. could be the place!
masha (249.5 days ago)i was told girl with both my girls at 18 weeks n it was accurate both times. as for ur friend, its more common that they say girl n then its a boy, not the other way around.
monica9 (249.5 days ago)well, your friend was more of a freak accident. That probably wouldn`t happen to you. The baby`s parts are fully developed sometime around 14 weeks, but isn`t fully grown (enough to see) until around 17 weeks. I know many people that found out at 18 weeks and it was 100% accurate. They say between 18 and 20 weeks is best to find out, so you are good! Good luck!!!!
