after my last miscarriage at 15 weeks, I waited much longer this time than I did with my other 3 baby`s.....they say once you are in your 2nd trimester you are much less likely to miscarry, so....go with your gut. Something told me not to buy maternity clothes when I 1st needed them last time & then I lost the baby (& I wasn`t having any complications) & was so happy that I hadn`t started buying stuff after I lost him. It can make it so much harder if something happens to have any reminders around. The reminders in your mind are more than enought to make you cry.

i waited til i found out what i was having b/c, me personally, i dont like the `neutral` colors like yellow, orange, green, etc...i`d rather pink/blue, plus since i`m having a boy i can get sports type clothes for my baby.

We bought the crib at 17 weeks. That`s all we`ve bought though. We`re waiting to find out what it is.
