Name-poll poll OK so if the baby is a girl - I decided to name her Adria. Tonight I realized something so strange. My ex fiance who broke my heart (still not over him) and told me to `forget him` (the baby`s father)...well his name is Riaan - named after his father ADRIAAN. BEYOND strange that the name I chose is the girl version of that name. Should I still go with it? I`m all confused now.

Hell no. It's too close to his name. He doesn't deserve to be related to her name.
If you like the name, who cares!! Go for it! It's pretty!

SWEAR I didn`t even mean to make it that way. My ex mentioned ONCE that that was his father`s name..totally didn`t realize it. I didn`t get to know the father that well as he was away on trips when I lived there. So strange. Someone suggested Adrienne and I changed it to Adria thinking that was prettier and more unique... it wasn`t even remotely intentional!

Are you sure you didn`t pick the name for that reason. Or are you sure that isn`t why the name has that much appeal?

if u think it will bother you knowing its close to your ex`s name then don`t use it. but if you don`t care then go ahead! its pretty
