jenny504 (278.7 days ago)I sit most of my day and find working is a pain i am giving myself a month to myself and to get ready and also to spend time with my 4 year old before the baby comes. But i get a whole year paid for as well so that makes a difference. I wish i could be done work now, my nerves are bad and i find my temper is alot quicker. But my job is high pressure sales soooo...i just wish it was over.
mlindsey (279.7 days ago)i think it depends. When you get uncomfortable standing for long periods then that should be a sign, and if you are in a smokey environment that is harmful also.
mommymeg (280.1 days ago)lol....this makes me laugh....I am 24 weeks prego and just now considering getting a part time job as a server....(sitting at home does suck) I worked full time as a chef and also attended school full time while prego with my first until I was 39 weeks...I think its fine until you feel it getting too hard!
mia (280.2 days ago)I am a bartender/server and am planning on working as long as I can, maybe just a couple of weeks before my due date. I am 32 weeks now and feel fine enough to keep working. Plus it makes the time go by faster. Sitting at home all day would suck! =)
MJamison (280.3 days ago)I would work as long as you can! As long as you are comfortable, if you can be.. I would work..
Vanbyland (280.4 days ago)Save your vacation time until after your little one is born.
Christelle (280.5 days ago)A friend of mine worked til the day she gave birth as a server (course it was her own restaurant). She had a quick and easy birth only gained 5kgs because of all the excerise. I think it depends how you`re feeling and what kind of place you are serving in. Good luck! (Other friends were happy to be ordered on bedrest and get a break before the baby was born.)
