whitneyc (232.5 days ago)I had one at about 24 weeks. I`ve only had two or three since then. My sister-in-law said she never had Braxton Hicks, so I think it just depends on the person. Maybe you`ll get lucky and not have one at all!
magnolia76 (232.5 days ago)I didn`t get them with my 1st pregnancy. I`m not 37 weeks and I haven`t had them yet, so I guess some woman don`t get them.
Jess G (232.6 days ago)Nope, they`re not always fun...I didn`t get them until I was 34 weeks...then until I had my daughter, they were frequent...and many would stop me in my tracks..
threeangelsofmine (232.9 days ago)some women may not have them i didn`t have them with my first 2 pregnancies but this time around i keep having them and i am only 24 weeks along---trust me don`t be in a hurry to feel them.
louisianamommy (232.9 days ago)Funny thing is, I thought I had started with Braxton Hicks at about 30 weeks, but they were actually the real thing! I kept telling my husband that they were false contractions, even though they were coming five to seven minutes apart for about an hour at a time. Some people don`t even really have them, but take my advice...if you start feeling contractions and they have a rhythm to them and can be timed, it`s not Braxton Hicks! Braxton Hicks will be sporadic and should be pretty painless.
JessH (233 days ago)Be glad you arent feeling them. They arent always fun! Im carrying twins and Im one of those who have felt them since about 24wks. Now im battling preterm labor. When you get one you`ll know. Your whole stomach gets tight and rock hard. the pressure can radiate through your back- you might even feel like you cant breathe or like someone put you in a vice grip and squeezed!
twebdup (233 days ago)I`m almost 30 weeks and I haven`t had any that I can feel yet.
