in Australia, holden is a brand of car. i think the company is owned by Chevy, so the cars are pretty similar.i wouldn`t name an Aussie kid Holden, but as thats not a problem for you, name away, its cute

Catcher in the Rye is one of my favorite books and Holden is the main character`s name. Love the name and the literary aspect of it.

I just reminds me of the beach...because there is a beach nearby called Holden Beach.

`Holden` is a term in German to mean all sorts of good qualities. There isn`t an English equivalent...
