kekea (279.3 days ago)My baby is due on the 7th, if he is not here by the 1st, im going to start my leave
Lelers (279.5 days ago)I am working all the way up to when she comes. I am 39 weeks now.....I was dialated at a 2 at 36 weeks and still no baby. I think that if I was to wait at home, I would go crazy. At least I have some distraction here.
pregosharpe (280 days ago)I worked up until the day before I gave birth, I was at work all day on a Monday, got off work, had dinner, took a bath went to bed, and my water broke at 4am the next morning. Most people couldnt believe I was working the day before I gave birth :) I strongly suggest waiting until you give birth to take your maternity leave if you can, I only got 6wks and I just went back to work on Friday and it was sooo hard leaving her at the sitters. I cant imagine if I had taken my maternity leave early and only got 4wks with her or something! 6wks seemed like a short enough time!
sgtoodles (280 days ago)I was planning on taking off 2 weeks before. I am a teacher and have enough substitute days to cover that. (and whatever i have left they make me use as part of my maternity leave). I just was curious what most women do- how much relaxing time is needed before.
Thanks!
delilahspregnantagain (280.3 days ago)I am working up until I have my baby. Plus I work in a hospital so I will be right there anyways. I don`t want to miss out on my year of maternity leave waiting to give birth.
