I love the name Ophelia but because of her tragic ending in Shakespeare I couldn`t name my child that.

I think it`s a pretty name... I have a friend who named all of her kids with `O` names and one was Ophelia. They call her Lia (like Leigha)for short. One of her other girl`s is named Octavia...I thought it was pretty too =)

my mum tells me stories of when she was little, she wanted to have a daughter named Ophelia Dianne, when she had me, my dad said no way, so i ended up as a Kate! thats what this name reminds me of:)
