its a steroid shot that helps the baby incase it does come early then its lungs will or should work properly

actually, sorry, i take that back. she had a shot to stop contractions, but she took PILLS every 8 hours.

my friend was on them from week 30. she had to take them i think every 8 hours. they took her off of them at week 36. she ended up going into labor at 39 weeks.
