threeangelsofmine (221.3 days ago)i used nursery water for both my kids till they were a yr. olds and i will do the same this time around. but there was a brief time where i couldn`t afford the water with my daughter and i just used warm tap water and she is fine.
natalie75 (222.2 days ago)For my son I would boil water for his formula untill he was about 6 months old and then would use cold tap water.
mommymeg (222.4 days ago)ok heres one link... http://www.ghchealth.com/where-the-yellow-went.html
mommymeg (222.4 days ago)Oh and also, if you do end up researching, try and stay away from articles that are published by bias groups on either side...
mommymeg (222.5 days ago)I am really into researching wierd things and so i have read and learned about flouride and tap water...im not going to impose my ideas on you for a couple different reasons, but there is research that shows flouride water does not actually prevent cavaties and that too much of it is actually harmfull, also (just a quick lol) flouride was used by hitler and stalin in the 1930s? for mass mind control and to damage parts of the brain, now obviously at 1 part per million thats not the case these days, but if your truly interested you should research both sides. Also make sure you have a water softener because hard water is not good for baby, the same build up that occurs to pipes can occur to baby! Some bottled water is also not good for baby as they put flouride into the water possibly then containing too much! If youd like you can message me for a full opinion! I think your baby will be fine either way!
monica9 (222.6 days ago)well, like others said, tap water contains flouride. we get some of our flouride through our toothpaste that babies don`t get. Using filtered water takes the mineral out!
RobinG (223 days ago)Doesnt matter for me, I make it ahead in a koolaid jug then make up a bunch of bottles and just warm to feed. Takes less time then making each time I need a bottle ~ but if you make it as you go, just use warm water ~ no reason to boil unless you feel safer doing it or your town is on a boil water alert.
jeanette (223.3 days ago)The only medical reason to use tap it that it contains flouride.
elmera (223.4 days ago)boil and let it sit till cooled
samanthaandbaby (223.4 days ago)But do you actually use the warm water that comes out of the faucet, or do you boil it and let it sit?
teenMOMMIE (223.4 days ago)tap water has more minerals and nutrients. it would also save money :P
