Sure. The libby I knew was short for Olivia. You could also use Liza, Liz or Beth

I dont see why not, I named my daughter Elizabeth and wasnt sure what I wanted her nickname to be as there are many many names associated with this name so I decided on Izzie because its not the most common nickname for Elizabeth. I love the nickname Libby though its adorable!

yes, here in Australia, it is common to give the nick-name `Libby` to girls called Elizabeth. in fact, i have two friends called Libby
